No Pinky you do NOT understand!
"Big ups" is an Americanized form of "big ups." Instead of saying "Hey, big up," I will say "Hey, big ups," because it just sounds better and it agrees with "little downs." After all, "little down" just sounds terrible.
However, when telling someone to big up himself, you do just that; never say "big ups yourself." Big ups. |

| My dad loves to act like he's the reason why I listen to music, which he's not. Aside from Pearl Jam and Black Sabbath, I don't really listen to much that he listens to. It mainly comes from either myself or my brother. |

I just get my music taste from myself. My dad is a big classic rock fan, my older brother is into rap, my sister likes country music, and my little brother only listens to the soundtrack of the video game he is playing at the time. ......................... Also, the "big ups" phrase confuses me. Like, what does it even mean anyway? |
