| I don't know where I should post this but does anyone know what that option under Rendering in roblox settings does? |

The ROBLOX devs should provide us with a complete documentation of all the settings. :/
No, better. They should just give a description to every object and member in the object browser. They already did it for some objects/members, why not for ALL of them?
Oh, yeah, because that'd make the wiki completely useless.. good point.. that'd ruin the only actual use of the wiki. |

It just synchronizes you with ROBLOX's physics engine. if it's off, you should really consider turning it back on.

@Oysi
The only use of the wiki, then, would be to give a more user friendly description.
But the object browser, as well as the Lua reference manual, would be all that'd be needed for any advanced user. You don't know yet about a certain object? Look in the object browser! The names are not self-explanative enough? Look at the description! |

@Oysi
All the data types should actually show within the object browser. That includes CFrame, Vector3, Ray, Face, Vector2, UDim, UDim2, Region3, Region3int16, Vector3int16, BrickColor, Color3, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc...
I wonder why they didn't put them in it. They're classes too (well, more like structures, but still..). |

"Not to mention most in there doesn't even have a description."
I'm precisely suggesting that they should give a description to every object and every member of every object... as well as every enum.
"Nor does it specify how to use it."
It shows all the prototypes and a prototype is PRECISELY how to use a certain function or method.
Sorry, you COMPLETELY failed. A prototype is PRECISELY what defines how to use a certain function or method. Any advanced coder is usually supposed to be able to know how to use a function or method just by looking at its prototype, if not, by reading a short description of the arguments and of the function.
"For example, many bugs are located in roblox just because people mess around with things knowing nothing of how to use 'em."
If they don't use them correctly, then it's not a bug, it's just that they're not using it correctly.. >_> |

"Look in the object browser, look at, for example, the "Snap" instance with a blank mind. Does anything there even remotely suggest what its use is? No."
Read my post again. "if not, by reading a short description of the arguments and of the function."
And I talked about prototypes, moron, not about class names.
"Check your facts before being a moron, moron."
Yes, in fact, I think I know my facts well enough. |

Why are you still arguing about it? The wiki has reasons other than documenting objects. I never realised that the Object Browser taught people Lua, or documented things in detail.
The wiki is much more appropriate for things like that. That's the entire point of a wiki, incase you didn't realise. |

@trappingnoobs
I know, but, you see, sadly, nobody uses the wiki for learning because they all find it too complicated and they all want a teacher.
Therefore, the only thing it IS BEING USED for is as a reference. Because nobody wants to learn from it.
At least, that's what you keep seeing happening on SH. |

Seriously you need to get your facts straight, like Oysi's said. Loads of people use the wiki for learning. |

| This feature is off by default for a reason ; if ROBLOX is lagging,then the physics of the current game with slow down therefore causing your FPS to fall down tremendous amounts. |

You failed. I award you no points.
