what is it when a story told within a novel represents the plot of the novel at least in part
i.e. the billy goat's gruff in it representing the return of the losers club to derry to confront It in It
i want to say metaphor but i'm not sure

See, i was going along the line of fables/parables, but they're apparently types of stories and not the technique of including the story :/ Thanks though man. |
