Spring Training Pre-Season Predictions for 2013.
AL MVP: Miguel Cabrera: With Victor Martinez back. There is little doubt that Miguel Cabrera will keep driving in runs, getting hits with a lot of support in the Tigers lineup. NL MVP: Andrew McCutchen: Yes, I think the Pirates will finally make that move in the division, call me crazy but it has to happen someday. If the Pirates do come close or even make the playoffs it's going to be because of McCutchen. AL CY Young: Chris Sale: The young southpaw of the White Sox is already the claimed ace of the White Sox staff. With the innings limit eased for Sale this season, look for Sale to dominate. NL CY Young: Johnny Cueto: The ace of the Reds and the biggest All-Star snub of recent history. Pitching in a dominant hitters park, Cueto has numbers decieving itself from Safeco. Most Home Runs: Giancarlo Stanton: 43 Home Runs. Most Wins: Stephen Strasburg: 21 Wins Most Strike Outs: Justin Verlander: 242 Surprise Teams: Pittsburgh, Seattle; Both will finish over .500.

"Most Wins: Stephen Strasburg: 21 Wins"
as a nationals fanatic i must disagree with you on this one, at least until we see how he is doing after taking an extended break.
i also heard rumors about another season cut short for him, but i doubt that they are true. |

| I heard that Strasburg hopes he can pitch 200 this season. Pitching only 159.1 innings in 2012 with 15 wins. I personally believe he will go over 200 innings in this years pennant race. |

yes, 200 was the number i heard as well
if they can not screw up the post season like they did last season, he would obviously go past that unless mike rizzo or davey or whoever made the innings limit last season cuts him off again. doubtful that would happen, though. |

| He has been injury prone throughout the duration of his career... I had faith that he would go through the season without missing a start. |

Cabrera is the front runner for AL MVP. McCutchen is the front runner for the NL MVP. And the Pirates went above .500.
Screw all the other predictions. |
