It'll have good games, no doubt about it, but some no good pubishers *cough * Majesco * cough * will abuse the gamepad's power.
For example, how would these games work on Wii U?

"Ninjabread Man"
DEAR GOD
NO
THE HORRIBLE NIGHTMARES
But honestly, the Wii U is going to be just like the Wii. Critics will hate it. It will be considered "underpowered" (which it is). But the sales will turn around. It's an innovative console and when developers identify the true power of the gamepad, it may conquer sales like its predecessor. |

| It will probably be a busy first year. Then like their other consoles, they will just sort of... forget about making new games for it. |

| He is in Pikmin 3. He's just not one of the original playable characters. He's probably going to be an integral part of the story. |

| The Wii got a lot of first days sales, then the console died out quickly. The WiiU will do the same. |

The only reason the Wii has more sales is international appeal and it's appeal to casuals (easily 90% of the world's gaming population)

"casual" means fps/cod games now
On the other hand, I'm left-handed. |

No, it doesn't. People think they do just to make themselves look more hardcore.
True casuals are party games, mini games, dancing games, sports/racing games, and (to a lesser extent) platformers. The Wii was pretty much built with those in mind.

-cough- Pikmin 3 -cough- Noo it wasn't. People just saw that it could be used that way and went "Oh cool!" It's also great with other games that aren't like that thus appealing to both hardcore gamers and casual gamers. |

Say what you want, but Nintendo almost always aims for casuals and smaller children. Pretty sure Pikmin is also aimed for that group too.
