I led RAT I led it from the top of the clan for a very short time, as leader. I led it from right below that for a year or two in its top circle, representing its position in the clan community as the absolute best. and finally I led it representing its members and their interests as leader of the members union. I gave up my rank several times for them.
I know that RAT were never individually the best fighters, our strength was in our sheer size and we competed with other large groups in that we had high ranks that cared enough to work with their members.
I am not happy with how the RAT developed these past few years. Despite my differences with d4 I feel there were some improvements he made to the group, however the amount of damage done seems fairly catastrophic. Lets look at what happened.
We went from basic architecture (see TPHG's RAT HQ made by Sirboss, definately the best fort RAT ever had, regardless of carbines and free modeled airplanes) to black and white monotony. Not a bad change by any means, in fact one that gave RAT a distinct look. This is not the problem.
The problem is this stupid emphasis on unimportant stuff like Lore and swordfight training and new technologies and sparrow corps. RAT went from soldiers to a bunch of people buying VIP shirts and going to swordfight training as if swordfighting even was something you would see in a real battle.
Lore doesn't matter in a war group Frostaria doesn't matter, roleplaying in a clan is a good way for you not to be taken seriously This latest defeat to WIJ is inexcusable. If the RAT leadership was smart they would have gathered activity a week before and used it to do a final battle without team size restrictions. Instead of making up stories about some stupid made up universe and failing at your actual purpose, why don't you give your members something to be proud of.
Good luck finding that in superclans anymore. Maybe I am being biased here, but Smaller clans are the way to go. One for one, it pains me to say it, but Vaktovia beats RAT by a long shot. You have no idea how true that has to be to hear it from me. |

I agree with this, that is why you were my SiC when I owned RAT and I gave it to you.
We can only wonder what RAT would be today had you not returned it. |

| Small clans aren't as great also. Most of them can't handle having power. |

| Honoring commitments to a friend is far more important than even the largest superclan. If I didn't return the clan I would not expect your respect today. |

I agree Ploober, being in R.A.T for a long time (On and off but still) R.A.T was alot better in the old days and I admit I am not a fan on D4 I will admit I had alot of fun back then.

Ploober, I remember when Cezza and I, as well as you gathered at your first place. We were discussing the loss of ownership.
Rodger, if you lead RAT, that would be rather cool. |

| piede is not a good example of what a high rank in a clan should be. |
