I went on a alt called "Tinbreath". There I participated in a EoT training. I enjoyed the training there the people were nice but others were very ignorant. The training overall was terrible.
The high-ranks are not suited to train. They constantly team-kill and try to discipline you but they do not understand you cannot discipline someone that does not respect you. I had respect for the trainers but lost it after they tried to discipline me for "Wanting to duel". The High-Ranks made me and 10 other trainees turn in circle saying "Left face" and such....how is that benefitital to my training at all? I know how to zoom in and turn. They even act highly immature usually saying "YAAAAAAAAAH" and "COME ON YOU NOOBS!!!" which tends to get the other Imperials immature.
Now I don't mean to flame but this is my true opinion as I sit there at the training and say this I just see more dissapointing things.
The trainees are saying "Can we do something" and "This is boring..." Minecraft, second in command of the mages ordered us to turn for 10 minutes and I couldn't handle it. It was so boring. Do you know how much I thought about just TK'ing everyone and leaving because it was so boring?
Finally the HR's order a practice raid. With the two-shot bows and nearly impossible difficulty of winning the practice raid is terrible. There is a wall you must hop over while the defendors shoot at you, two-shots and your out. After you get on the walls you have to kill all defendors even though they simply just spawn kill you.
The Imperial's often would not train with the trainees, making that just sad. A trainer should demonstrate skills when all the Imperials did was tell each other to duel and turn left and right. "I see two ways to train. You can either make your trainees use the knowledge they already know and they gain NOTHING, or they can be taught by you and gain proper knowledge. Although I see nothing wrong with practicing, but that is a difference between practicing walking and moves like lunge, stuff a noob knows." -Poisoncrow to Imperial HR
Finally, all I have to say is that some people were fun to talk to but the trainers act like they are loose from a Alinor pet cage.
My complete review: (How much they trained in each)
Dueling: 3/10 Archery: 5/10 Agiltiy: 3/10 History: 0/10 Geography: 0/10 Tactics: 1/10 Formations: 10/10 Trainer Interaction: 2/10 Social Interaction: 7/10
Overall: 3/10 |

| You might notice that they hardly ever host official trainings. They call patrols and then if there happens to be a few people they "Try" to train them. It never works. |

I was an Imperial Legate. Sadly, this sounds about right.
@Captain, all too true as well. I never called a patrol. It was either raid or train.
When all is said and done, more is said then done. |

But in regards to the weapons.
We have a new bow, damage depends on accuracy, and holding left click on the mouse. (i.e the more you hold it, the more damage, etc.)
We have a new Sword + Shield weapon aswell. You can block by holding " E " on the keyboard.
Raids will be more fun. We imperials will be adapting to our new weapons as well. |
