"if i can afford it nvidia for lifespan and power effieceincy"
it's the manufacturer (XFX, GIGABYTE, MSI, EVGA) that makes the card live longer |

Graphics cards don't have cores.
The little half dollar sized square attached to the motherboard with all of the pins on it is the processor.
The processors can range from 1, 2, 4, and even 6 cores...
The more cores, the better for multi tasking.
I currently have a Quad(4) core computer...

What makes your computer zip or drag through pages and clicking things is mainly RAM, or Memory.
Those are the little thin cards that go into the thin slits in your motherboard.
RAM, or Random access Memory is used to be distributed to places that your computer needs to open or run programs/processes in your computer.
Let's say you play Roblox, that takes up about a gig of ram..
I have 16 Gigs of ram on my computer.

How do I know?
I've had both, buddy.
I've had almost every top graphics card you can think of in my computer(s)..
I personally like Nvidia better.
Plus, AMD doesn't fit well with alot of modern motherboards or processors.. |

The problem isn't the motherboard or processor, it's the case. |

I have a few new gaming cases from Gamerpaladin computers, and many other gaming computers.
My cases aren't the problem.
Bottom line, AMD's given more people problems than Nvidia in the graphics card area.
I prefer it, and apparently so do many others, over AMD. |

But hey, it's your computer.
I'm just going off of what I see in my computers, and in some others.
In the end, you spend your money, I spend mine. |

WHAT.
THE...

Read it. Or if you're too stupid (Which you probably are), just look at this picture: http://www.nvidia.com/docs/IO/122875/gpu-computing-image-1.png
GPUs are good at calculating hashes BECAUSE they have more cores. That's why AMD is one of the best for hash calculating, because they always ADD MOAR CORES.
Learn stuff. |

| Wait, you probably think that NVidia's official site is a "phishing site so it'll give you viruses". No. Just google "do gpus have cores" and click the first result. It's NVidia's official website. |
