Thanks for clicking my thread ._.
Anyway.
This thread is about an improvement of explosions. Like, really. You stand behind a wall, and behind the wall, theres an explosion. What happens? You die. EVEN if you are infront of the wall.
So actually, my idea, is to have a new property for parts. It would be called "Explosionproof". You can select and deselect it using the small square.
What it would do?
Well, lets give an example:
--> ROBLOXian = X, Wall = ---, Explosion = O
O :
----------------------------------------------------------
X :
Wall has Explosionproof on.
The robloxian wont lose any bodyparts or health.
So actually, the wall protects the robloxian.
Support please? Else state your reason ._. |

@ViadimirIvanox the problem is the blast radius going through bricks. :l
@incredy Support. Also, would explosion-proofed bricks not break from other explosion proofed bricks? |

No.
Reasons:
Scriptable
The ability to go through parts is useful. |

local e = Instance.new("Explosion", workspace)
local hit = {} e.Hit:connect(function(part) table.insert(hit, part) end)
for i,v in next, hit do local ignore = {} for ii, iv in next, hit do if not v:FindFirstChild("BlockExplosions") and not v == iv then table.insert(v, ignore) end end local Hit, Pos = workspace:FindPartOnRayWithIgnoreList(Ray.new(e.Position, v.Position), ignore) if Hit == v then print("Hit") --SIMULATE EXPLOSION end end
Something like that. But thats just a quickly thrown together script. |
