| Ho-lay crap there's doom books? What's it about? I would like to check into it after I finish my backlog of books. |

Yeah, there are several Doom books.
I know of a series of 4 books that were released between 1995 and 1996 and were based off of "Doom," but they weren't like the games. I haven't read them, but I've heard that the books didn't have Hell, and were genetic experiments, much like how the "Doom" movie ended up.
Then, in 2008, two books were made based off of "Doom 3." There were 3 books planned, but the 3rd was cancelled.
So far, the first "Doom 3" book is explaining the creation of the Mars base, and the events the lead up to the Marine being sent to Mars and the eventual Hell invasion.
It's a good read, thus far, I recommend it. |
