| That's not a saying, that's Schrodinger's cat, with the radioactive decay trigger. Nobody knows when the cat is dead, until they open the box, so the cat is simultaneously alive and dead as it could be either. Since there's no timing on the decay trigger, nobody knows when the cat died. So they have to open the box to see if it's alive. |
