Hey I'm here cause I'm needing some help visualizing what a place in the 193-60's would look like.
If you guys know of any places that are nicely Cframed and look like it could of been somewhere back then, please post a link.
(Google images isn't the best resource.)
Please and thank you. |

Well what kinds of areas are you thinking of? In a city like New York? Because I've seen your place, and if you're looking for what Las Vegas looked like 100 years ago, even 80-70 years ago there was only about 20 people there.
I liked how you had that movie theatre in the last version, the sign out front matched the style of that time perfectly.
As for other buildings, pretty much the ones that are around now in major city cores (Where old builds are usually due to urban sprawl). Old style brickwork, corner diners, paperboxes, old style stoplights.
And Google is a good resource, you just have to use it properly.
Try "New York 1930s", or "1920's Diner".
As you know that 95% of the internet is cat pictures, you have to really search for reliable sources. Check the website the picture is from. |

Okay, I will. I've been thinking.. Las vegas just doesn't fit... So I'm going to go for a 1920-60 urban style place.
Ninjasheep said I should use San Francisco and New York as a style... Hm, good choices.
Thanks Ninja and Gray. Anyone else? Idea/Search Suggestion(s) would be helpful. |

I believe you should look for old movies to get an idea of how cities looked like back then, if not, you can ask your grandparents (You wont find a best source that people who lived back then).
You can always try making a small town or the outskirts of a big city.

| So do I. Imagine a ROBLOX where everyone listened to a number of Building Helpers... Everything would seem brighter and more logical in my opinion. |

Yeah.
Till someone lies, causes problems... Turns into a dictator of BH..
All would fall... Sad thing.
Still, I personally have learned through 2 accounts, LISTEN to what Ninjasheep SAYS... Or else your going to be stuck for a while. |

Hehehe, I suppose now would be a good time to admit that BurningGray is a joint account for a project between ShadowLego7 and I.
I was on at the time. Hahaha. |

Eh, I may not know everything, but what I did learn I usually got from making mistakes. I just let people know what I learned without letting them know I screwed it up first! |

Well, I've updated the place thanks to you and Ninjas ideas. Some vintage looking sinks and toilets, Shelving in the kitchen, More realistic looking lights. GuestCapone's office, Bathroom stalls, Chandelier in GuestCapone's office, Fixed every brick-on-brick-flashing glitch I found...
(Studio only) A bookcase door, sadly this didn't work in play mode.
