Is there a way to force a player to unequip a weapon (And fire the unequip event?)
Explain if you have a solution. |

| I don't believe so, but you could use AncestryChanged instead of unequip event? |

Heh. That's what the new Bionics place uses instead of GetMouse()
Lol. Anyway, thanks Sorcus, I like this (unknown to me) update with UnequipTool and EquipTool methods. :)
(Yay, Sorcus did a good update, or he at least didn't stop it) |

Please note that hopperbins might be removed in the future. They have been deprecated for a long long time.

@Sorus But they've been deprecated for so long that we take their existence for granted. |

| Yeah, I actually want an answer for this. Why are hopperbins deprecated? They're so useful. Sometimes you really just don't want a handle for a tool. :l |

There's an actual method now for Equipping tools? I'm surprised, did not even know about that. |

| The funny thing about EquipTool and UnequipTools is that they can be implemented entirely in Lua. They would only be useful if they handled hopperbins as well as tools. |

Well not supporting Hopperbins is intentional. They are deprecated.

@Sorcus
Is it ever going to be possible to create tools that don't use handles? That's the only reason I ever use hopperbins.
Yes, there's GetMouse(), but sometimes it's more convenient to use the tool interface (like selecting between an interact and explain tool in a point and click adventure). |

I don't care if they are 'deprecated' as long as we can use them.

I remember WAY BACK WHEN (three or four years ago maybe?) when hopperbins were so much easier to script because I just never learned that the mouse object can only be referenced in LocalScripts when they're in tools.
Every time I tried to make a tool, it didn't work online.
Hopperbins are easier to learn, they have that nice perk. |

| The big thing that deters me from using Hopperbins is that 1-second lag between when you equip the tool and when the tool gets welded to your hand. It gives a really "glitchy" feel to the tool system. Hopperbins react instantly, which is why I've always lik.ed them more. |
