I have just spent the past 5 hours in A+E with a broken thumb, my lack of cartilage and weak tendons probably didn't help. I have a thumb splint, a thumb spike, a ton of painkillers and anti inflametories. I cannot write, open doors, pick up items, smooth my hair, wash properly, type properly and most importantly, cannot build for 20 days.. ;-;
Well, time to return to OT with my butternut squash siggy and stylish hat combo!

Lol.
I actually saved a goal in football (British football) in an incredibly dramatic dive, kind of did a spin and threw the ball back and them and eh..landed on my thumb like you would press a twig against the ground :P
The lack of movement and swelling for 12 hours is what got my attention xD |
