| I downloaded Roblox and pressed PLAY, but it downloaded Roblox again. I am unable to play because of this. I tried to press it in Google Chrome and Safari [MAC USER] |

What Type of Windows are You using? Have you tried clicking the windows Icon in the bottom left corner?
Use these steps.
Step 1. Click You're Windows Icon in the bottom left corner.
Step 2. Look Under the word -All Programs- or next to the Shut down button.
Step 3. Next or under is a word saying search programs and files - Click that and Type in Roblox.
You Should Now Receive a page of listed ROBLOX stuff.
Step 4. Now Delete all the downloaded ROBLOX programs you have on there.. Leave the files.
Step 5. re-download roblox.
step 6. it should probably work now. |

Jeff: I'm not sure those are correct steps to take, even if he were on a PC. You should uninstall ROBLOX from Start->Control Panels->Programs and Features, not delete them from your start menu.
Klocko: in Chrome navigate to the URL "chrome://plugins". Is the ROBLOX Launcher Plugin there and enabled? |

Hey Klocko, You need to check if Roblox Launcher is in your Chrome plugins, if not, let ROBLOX install, then you need to try clicking play again, if the problem stays, speak to ROBLOX. |

If all else fails, try to do a CLEAN INSTALL of ROBLOX.
Follow these steps to do a CLEAN install of ROBLOX.
(Uninstall ROBLOX through control panel like you normally would to uninstall a program FIRST. THEN follow these steps.)
To make sure that it will be a CLEAN install, do the following steps: 1. Press on your keyboard (Windows Key) and R 2. Type in %appdata% 3. Hit Enter (It should now have opened a window with folders.)
On the upper section of the window, it should say: (Name) > AppData > Roaming
4. Click AppData 5. Open the "LocalLow" Folder. 6. Delete the "RbxLogs" folder (If you changed settings in-game, delete rbxcsettings.rbx) 7. Go back to the previous folder/window by hitting the Backspace button or pressing the back button 8. Open the "Local" folder 9. Delete the "Roblox" folder 10. Re-Install ROBLOX by downloading it off of www.roblox.com 11. Launch a place and see if the problem persists.
If the problem continues, try another place. If it does the same problem there, try updating your computer's video driver. |
