--They changed the interface, toolbars, buttons, etc. to be exactly how 2012 was, whilst keeping it compatible with multiple operating systems, 'faster' speed and 'fewer' crashes*, Lua syntax reader, and collision check? At least it would feel the same and look the same.
*Put in quotes because those updates are a bit questionable.

No. And the whole "Faster speed" and "Fewer crashes" isn't something you can just toggle. It takes codework, which is exactly what they are doing every day since it came out. I don't want it to feel and look the same. 1.0, though I am used to it, was getting bland as well as outdated.

The interface is really overdone and much of it unnecessary. I think that's what most people who don't like 2013 are concerned with anyways because it makes building a hassle (in addition to the bugs).

This will be good for the "Old" Builders. But as time progresses, they'll have to update the interface to match the Modern times.

If they actually knew how to use it, they'd realize building is a hell of a lot easier. The interface is exactly the same, it just has a different theme. I enjoy it. The features on it that were hidden before are fairly useful to those who fully utilize studio and it's abilities.

And that's just it, they have to know how to use this new one. Why would you change something that was fine, and only took so much knowledge to know how to utilize? As far as being easier, they've made it far more complex, not keeping the interface the same.
So it's a matter of opinion. And it looks like the majority of people dislike it. |

Ehm, the only real differences of building are the Collision-Free settings and the mouse cursor. There is nothing new to learn.

I prefer 2.0, even if they remade 3.0.

Alternative solution: What if the admins gave us the OPTION of using Roblox 2012 without removing 2013? People can choose what program they want to use and everyone's happy. |

@emarald65 I agree. They should let us have the option of using Roblox 2012 without removing the current version of Studio.

Roblox has already stated that holding multiple versions of Roblox Studio will cause difficulties.

Why not have an option to change the layout to look like 1.0...
