I played that and enjoyed it, especially the last levels
it's still a bad game though, in terms of design
any more? Surely someone plays a Mary-Kate and Ashley game or something? |

| Uh, a couple years ago that would have to be Runescape, nowadays? Heck, I don't even know, probably League of Legends, I enjoy the game but I sure as heck don't go flaunting around claiming I play the game, my social life is bad enough as it is. |

oh man do I remember runescape, I only played that because all my friends did in junior school
a lot of my friends play LoL, and they've all invited me to try it, but I don't really see the appeal in it |

| Heh, it was the exact opposite for me. everybody I knew went around calling people who played the game nerds and losers so I sort of had to hide the fact I played the game, I lost interest about a year ago. |

seriously?
playing games has kind of become a trend where I live, anyone from the rejects to the 'popular' people play games, and a surprising range of them too
although most just stick with COD/Fifa/Skyrim/Pokemon and Borderlands 2 if they're feeling adventurous
kind of irritates me though, I play games because I enjoy them, they play games as some kind of fashion statement. It's nice that nobody gives me weird looks when I play Disgaea on my Vita or OOT on my 3DS |

| Most of the "gamers" from where I come from are the typical stuck up Call of duty kids you find online, y'kno, the guys who scream in the mic when he misses his "ubersweet killshot noscope" and dies. I don't like them. |

Yeah, the CoD community has several people who:
A: Judge a game by small aspects.
B: Can't handle people disliking the series.
C: From what I've heard, being super-happy about quick-scopes and all those nice tricks.

Yep, you just about nailed them, I went to a friends once and he insisted I play Cod with him, I was a guest so I say, eh, whatever, what could go wrong? About ten minutes in he gets a text message from some kid asking to play online but it has to be "noscopes only" so we start the game and I lost interest fast and just spam the fire button and pray for some kills, well after killing him twice he started spamming my friends phone with, OMG WOW YOUR FRIENSD CHEATING HE KILLED ME HES A *** ******* GET HIM TO PLAY RIGHT!
See why I don't like these people? |

@mage Let me add something...
D: they overreact when they lose.
"umg ur a h4x0r play rit3"
I wish they could acknowledge the fact that people have skills another might not.

"The new final fantasies"
I liked FF13 and 13-2 regardless of all the critisism it got. The graphics were nice, the ATB combat system was modernised well and was very satisfying to use, and both instalments had good game feel |

| Oh, I don't know if this belongs here but Fallout 3 is another guilty pleasure, the game is amazing and received almost universal acclaim but all those hardcore Fallout fans constantly go on about how Bethesda "screwed up Fallout lore" and is a sin on the Fallout name. |

@Mage
I know. I have played EVERY Fallout game (except BoS, but that was a terrible spin-off) and I don't see the problem with 3. They always complain "Uhh, no, the Enclave shouldn't be there since the president was killed in 2" or "the game should be in the Southwest. It's too apocalyptic in D.C" and things like that.
In fact, 3 is my favorite.

| Once played Terminator on a site where you could play NES games without an emulator or NES (Called VirtualNES, I think) I sort of enjoyed it. |
