| This is relevant to me because I read heavily out of this genre and when I think about it your right. But I never had a problem with it because the real surprise lays in the kind of tragedy it is. Although there are always the generics that everyone can see coming. |

Yeah, most of the time it turns out to be the generic form of tragedy where the protagonist/everyone just dies.
