You know, the good old small party of adventurers goes in seeking fame and fortune?
I'd like to run one. |

| No. Not at all. It's actually a roleplay with a focus on exploration and combat. |

It's medieval fantasy going in and exploring/looting dungeons. Of course dungeons in this case means a wide variety of structures both natural and man-made. Sometime it even can represent outdoor area.
Cool thing about it is that a well done one has something for most people. It has combat, puzzles (if the groups doesn't like puzzles those can be omitted), traps, exploration, sometimes even negotiation.
I'll start drafting one up now. I think I have a couple maps already made I could use. |

Okay, so I have a few basic ones that I can finish easily.
1. Shipwrecked - the party's ship is sunken by kraken attack during a storm. The players, survivors of the event, come to shore (depending on the way the players handle the kraken attack they may come up on different ways) and they have to make the trek through jungle to get to the town they were originally headed for. Length - Long
2. War on the Goblin King - the party is contacted by a retired adventurer by the name of Haenelm to liberate a town that has been captured by goblinoids (hobgoblins, goblins, bugbears.) length - long
3. The Hound's Tooth - The party has gone to explore the ruined fortress, known as the hound's tooth. It is rumored that great riches were stashed in the depths of the keep. length - medium
4. Cult of Corruption - The party must rush to stop the summoning of an ancient demon. They must storm the dungeon the cult has set themselves up in to stop it. Length - short
5. Expedition from the Iron Halls - The party is contracted by a dwarvish nation to explore an ancient road, once lost, now found. It is not known what lies on the other end, or along most of the way. Length - very long |

| Expedition from the Iron Halls or maybe Shipwrecked. They all sound pretty good though. |

| By my estimation Expedition from the Iron Halls would take at least a month to complete. |

Iron Halls it is then.
Got another vote here: When a player is absent, are you guys fine with their player having stopped earlier to be the rear guard or mark paths? When such a situation is appropriate, are you guys okay with your characters being NPCed for combat? |

I'd like to join please. If I could get the link as well please.
As for the characters, I'd prefer mine to not talk, but still be NPC'd when battling.
