Hello All. Just another suggestion from me. Do you make ads? Do you click on ads? You like those good ads right? So you think, "Hey, why dont I just drag that on to my desktop and use it as my own." Especially when the advertisement is not signed by the maker (Usually in the corner somewhere) but even when it is it could easily be covered up. Every time someone uploads an ad to ROBLOX a sig for that person should appear on the ad. In addition to that, advertisements should be locked from being dragged on to a desktop and be "stolen". I know that this may be confusing (I dont understand half of what I am typing) but it would be very useful for some ad makers. I personally try to sign all my ads but I have forgotten before and let me tell you... I have seen some of my ads so many more times then comfortable. Well... Show your support. Thanks. ~Sean |

| What's confusing is how you intend on preventing this. Aside from doing a natural copy/paste scheme, you could also save a screenshot, which pretty much makes this situation inevitable. |

I don't copy ads (its stupid and just low to do that...) but I could easily remove a signature and make the ad look original using a photo editing program :|
Also by locking the ad, nothing will happen. People can take screenshots and cur it out of a photo program. They can inspect element (using chrome or firefox) and just find the img url.
People have tried locking images. It does not really work :| |

| Good point... Didn't think about that. But there must be some way. |

I can really think of no way to stop piracy. The music industry tried and failed horribly. Same with the movie industry and certain parts of the gaming industry.
If you try to lock down something, there will ALWAYS be someone who will figure out a way to exploit the system and bypass your "lock"
Thats why the mods added "STOP THE EXPLOITS" to the WNTS post. Because even when they fix these current ones, there will always be new ones to come. |
