Hi Scripting Helpers,
I am currently trying to develop a sim for grappling on roblox in which I am calling "Ro-Jitsu". The basic idea was clicking on certain parts of the other persons body to get grips on them and then there would be keys for falling ( PlatformStand ) along with other movements. However the problem comes with the player physics holding up the weight of the other player when they go into PlatformStand unless both players go into PlatformStand.
I do not want to make it so that every time someone hits the fall key it forces both of them into PlatformStand ( unless it is a necessary last resort ) and I do not want to rely on both players hitting the fall key ( because who voluntarily throws themselves to the floor? )
Any ideas on how to get past this difficult part in roblox Character Physics? |

It is pretty clearly stated at the bottom :
