> He's a traitor.
I fail to see your logic, he fixed our economy.
I could not agree more with this video. If we are not firm with Iran and North Korea it will with a weaker US in a war.

> He's a traitor.
I fail to see your logic, he fixed our economy. --------------------------------- He started the deficit and is responsible for the 2008 recession.
And he is a traitor. He granted amnesty to terrorists and funded anti-american groups all to battle communism.
I could not agree more with this video. If we are not firm with Iran and North Korea it will with a weaker US in a war. --------------------------------- Bull. |

He funded the Mujahideen, who did not turn on America. The CIA itself said the US did not fund bin-Ladin's group in Afghanistan.
> He started the deficit and is responsible for the 2008 recession.
He actually brought the misery index, which adds the unemployment rate and the inflation rate from 19.33 to 9.72.
> Bull.
How so? Will Iran stop their nuclear weapons program if we do not make it clear that there will be consequences for it? Just today North Korea said it is making another rocket launch. If we are not firm, they will continue to threaten us.

Sorry.
He funded the Mujahideen, who did not turn on America. The CIA itself said the US did not fund bin-Ladin's group in Afghanistan. ---------------------------------------- That's funny, since there are documents showing transactions between Afghan militias and the US during the Soviet invasion.
He actually brought the misery index, which adds the unemployment rate and the inflation rate from 19.33 to 9.72. -------------------------------------------- Temporarily.
How so? Will Iran stop their nuclear weapons program if we do not make it clear that there will be consequences for it? Just today North Korea said it is making another rocket launch. If we are not firm, they will continue to threaten us. -------------------------------------------- Israel can destroy Iran, and North Korea can get destroyed by South Korea/Japan. We can assert force, but sending military will just cost money. |

| I always looked at the aspect of how he was one of the few presidents that diplomatically reached out to the USSR, and in the process, defeated them. |

He didn't defeat the Soviets.
They collapsed due to themselves. |

| He destroyed their morale in the simplest ways. From exchanging coats to an expensive program never destined to succeed. With every step he took to humanize America's enemy he took to defeating them. You could perhaps say that the Soviet Union was not sufficient to maintain itself, however, I belief that their morale internally was destroyed due to Reagan. Russian propaganda showed Americans as greedy cutthroats in a sense, and that they should be stopped at all costs. That one ideal was the Soviet battle cry. But when Reagan showed the Russian populace that America's people were much more than what their government had summed them up to be, then a people beckoned for a lighter age which involved cooperation with the United States. You may argue with me that Reagan was an idiot, and perhaps in your eyes he is, but I stand resolute in my opinion that Reagan was a great president, and a leader which won possibly one of the greatest struggles America has ever faced. |

Copy and pasted.
And half that information is opinionated crap.
First of all, their morale was high up until the collapse. They were only overthrown because the Russian people were sick of living in poverty. |

First of all, I wrote that entire paragraph. By all means, find the source from which I copied and pasted it, and I'll be more than happy to take it back!
"And half that information is opinionated crap."
Pot calling the kettle black.
"First of all, their morale was high up until the collapse. They were only overthrown because the Russian people were sick of living in poverty."
The Russian people, much like Cuba today, had no knowledge of what economical issues surrounded them. A Russian defector, upon seeing a grocery store, stated, "This must all be staged. No where in Russia can you get fresh meat so easily." That's because they were ignorant of a higher standard of living, until Reagan demonstrated the luxuries of America in the simplest of gestures and statements. My thoughts of Reagan remain resolute.

| No, they were quite aware. Soviet Union was not North Korea. They had access to the press. |

Excuse me, but where's that evidence of that I copied and pasted? Have you not found it?
Tell me, if they were so aware that their "enemies" were living very much better than them, why didn't we see moral issues earlier in Russia? You can't really say it was because their moral was mustered and united, the majority of the population were living in an overall crappy environment. If I was living in an area in that condition, I'd most certainly start questioning things upright. Despite this "access to the press", that still cannot disprove the theory of ignorance. |

| Mr. Reagan's economical methods invented a humorous sub-system of economics, called Reaganomics. |

Reaganomics started the recession of 2008, and is also the reasoning of small business's failing, by giving big chains more power to do what they want.
