That's not even out yet, Ultra.
For DC, which is easier to get into, I recommend the Year One books. Batman, JLA, and Green Arrow all have Year Ones, Year Ones, in a nutshell, are origin stories.
I recommend not to try to get into the Golden and Silver ages of comics of characters like Batman, Superman, ect... Really, they ain't as good as people say.
I recommend that you try to get the Archive editions of characters that don't have their own title that often.
The Atom Archives.
The JSA archives
Adam Strange Archives
All are good places to start. Just be careful about what you decide you REALLY want.
Seriously. I have boxes of books.
Also,
The Flash:Born To Run
Is so good |

Marvel civil war. It's super heroes fighting super-heroes.
Or maybe the death of captain america. It's about the red skull's daughter, sin, kills captain america. |

| No marvel movies. They're cheap rip-offs that tell only one third of the story and leave out half of the characters. DC movies at least don't attempt to follow the comic storyline, and are thus compatible with the 3-hour time limit that most movies impose. |

It comes out in like 2 weeks, and isn't it a sequel series?

Actually I think OP should check out Constantine.
And, no it is not.
Hellblazer is set in its own pocket universe - for lack of a better word - and Constantine is set in the mainstream DC universe. It is a Justice League Dark, spin-off.

Ah, I see.
I got confused, since the old Hellblazer was ending around the time Constantine begins.
Also, OP, I think you should try out Justice League of America, coming in the net few weeks. |

The Culling is like.... Hard to explain. But there are like 30 issues total of build up to it.
Ina basic sense, it's the hunger games. |
