Mainly to clean out the dust and also too check out what's actually inside. My CPU fan is caked in dust and so is the heat sink. What's a good way to clean them both? |

| How it's not turning on? There are many causes. Do you mean it's not turning on completely, not even single fan start to whirl up? |

Pressurized air can be purchased at any computer store (Or even stores like Walmart/ASDA) for anywhere between $3-$10. =/
Also, do you get an error or is the computer not even giving an image? You may have unplugged something, or maybe even shocked a component to death. |

| I figured the problem, the front panel connectors were not wired correctly, but I have encountered a new problem, when I start up it won't load Windows, instead it goes to this Config screen with an Intel background. |

| Figured it out again, the SATA cables were not even plugged in. But now I have to launch startup repair. This is the last time I open up my computer -_- |

| @thereal, it was pretty dusty, it was caked on the fan and the thing below it(heatsink?). I removed the fan and cleaned it with a cotton swab and removed pretty much all of it, I did the same to the heatsink and then replaced them both. |

@ZooZooba
May want to check your CPU temperatures with Speccy/CPU-Z once you get on the computer to make sure the Heatsink is on right. |

@rage. iPod
@commander No, but not much came off really.
@meldo That's why I cleaned it out in the first place, the fan sounded loud and the temp read 50c or something stupid. The fan sounds smoother now though. |

| If the thermal "seal" is broken then thermal performance will degrade which is why it should be cleaned off and reapplied, check your temps in BIOS. |

| There are no risks on which port you insert into it as it can't just magicly kill your hdd. |

Oh, ok. It's still stuck in a reboot loop, startup repair doesn't work and I really don't want to restore my computer. |

| It gets too starting windows, freezes, restarts and goes to startup repair, startup repair can't fix it. |
