I have no idea what happened! I was having a normal day and my computer was acting fine. I got bored so I figured 'why not play some Skyrim to pass the time?' ... well it was a bad idea.
Upon launching it which took at least 3 tries and me having to kill the operation through the task manager, it finally launched and was acting fine. Went to make a new character and it was -VERY- laggy (I'm talking 1-5 FPS here laggy) and it eventually crashed... No big deal, right? Then I got the blue screen of death. Re-launched, blue screen of death again until it started to work finally.
Was this just Skyrim or my computer? It's never done this before. This was the only info I could provide. |

But, seriously, does anyone know what went wrong?
The only idea I would have could be a file conflict with mods. I understand mods can smack eachother up and crash the game, but I have no idea if it's able to crash a system. |

| Check your antivirus and see if it was from a malicious source, if not, your computer should get help. |

Maybe you should open it up. See if any cables were knocked loose or anything like that.

Alienware M14x, I don't think it's a dinosaur.
And please, don't call yourself a gamer if you don't understand different people have different tastes. :c |

Skyrim actually isn't that great. You can easily kill all the enemies if you have a high block and one-handed stat and decent-sized stamina pool. With that and an iron war axe you can take on anything that doesn't shout "FUS."

1400*
I bought it for the mobility and the ability to change lights on the computer for road trips. It allows me to play games without completely blinding our driver, whoever that might be, leading to a car crash that brutally kills us all painfully. |

Don't know why you'd want to PC game in a car. Unsteady wireless signal.

Offline games until I get to the location we need to be at. :3
When I'm at home, though, I plop it on my desk and plug in my gaming mouse and keyboard so I can play MMOs without failing horribly.

I would probably buy an Alienware if I had $1400 dollars to waste. But I can build my own decent PC for under $500.

I also bought it because it runs most games on ultra at anywhere from 40 FPS (depending on the game) to 100.
I'd say it was worth it. I didn't have time to build my own PC as mine was broken before I got this one or I would have. |

| Actually, it's just a cheap keyboard. It works and that's all that matters. Nothing special about it. |
