That's not a very good reason to feel the way you feel.

Deal with it

99% of all people are complete tools who will jump on any large bandwagon there is and buy any music that's popular at the moment.

I'd prefer to listen to Tik Tok than any Beatles song though, so I can't complain.

and this is why people say wikipedia isn't accurate

a few months ago when i checked, it said that low had 10 million sales in america

now, it says it has 6 million

and according to wikipedia, elton john - candle in the wind is the best selling single of all time in america, beating out i gotta feeling by 700,000 sales

Then again, besides population quantities, people with enough money to buy the singles, lack of internet, etc.

It is really meaningless and irrelevant, and thus, uncomparable due to different time periods and technology in the market industry.

Not that I hate The Beatles or anything, but I agree with you on that one.

Its not because I hate the Beatles. It's just because I'd enjoy a catchy, fast paced, modernized tune to a Beatles song which tends to be slower than a Ke$ha song, and a lot harder to dance to.

I just can't get into The Beatles. They're all right, but I expected more from a band that almost everyone I know likes...

Most of their songs just sound the same, to me.

I read the posts before me and saw nothing that disproved my point. Think about, there were less people buying music back then, not only because there was a lower population, but because getting music wasn't as easy. You couldn't just buy one song off of iTunes, you had to buy a record. And records were crap. I know Beatles are on iTunes now, but there are nowhere near as many people buying Beatles songs, as there are people buying Kesha songs. And old people just listen to radio because they don't feel like figuring out technology.

It's people being able to buy music (let alone singles) easier. That's why. That's a stupid reason.
