NexGen Aeronautics used to have one, but I got rid of it.
I personally believe that databases attempt to objectify something that is already too subjective to begin with. There are too many problems with trying to monitor what goes on with thousands of members in a database, assigning points evenly and fairly, and making sure that people get the promotions/demotions that they deserve.
It's a giant mess, and databases really aren't worth keeping. If you can train your HRs to embrace the same standards when promoting people, you make a database unnecessary.

Considering that most groups consider a shared TC server and GoogleDocs document advanced......
I don't have very high expectations when it comes to that. It would definitely be the best way to do things, however. |
