Notes: I've suggested this in the past with another account. I've just migrated onto this account now. I also can't seem to find the old thread, so I've decided to re-create it and make it fresh and new. Thank you for taking your time in reading this.
Suggestion: Roblox Anti Cheat.
Origin: Valve Anti Cheat
Definition: Valve created the game Team Fortress 2 and they added this system to prevent serious hacks and or exploits. The system automatically bans your account once it has detected you use some foreign software which could then be used to alter the game's engine or anything else that could harm the game.
Details for RAC: You could possibly look into it's details a little bit more in-depth, but could create your own version of it. So, here's my idea/suggestion. If a user uses a foreign exploiting/hacking software (ex; Cheat Engine) to alter the game, the system could detect that foreign software. The system would then obtain the user's account information and ban the user's account. For more serious offenses (ex; Altering the website), the system could obtain the user's IP address and then ban the account in question. It would also grab the user's email just in case the user resurfaces. The system could then leave behind a report of the incident with possible foreign software names.
Possible outcomes with use of this system: Reduction of exploited games, reduction/elimination of serious attacks to the website, etc. This would bring in some serious benefits to the site.
Reasons for this suggestion: I've seen an increase in exploited games recently. That means that possible exploits have yet to be patched. I had this idea last year, maybe mid to late 2012. It had numerous support before.
Requests: Please leave your reply with any improvements that are needed for this suggestion, or anything you would like to add. Leave your feedback. All criticism is welcome! :) But, I would advise serious discussion. No replies will be made to immature replies.
Final thoughts: Thank you for taking the time to read through this suggestion. If you're an Admin of ROBLOX, please feel free to give me any feedback or suggestions via PM. |

Okay, first off... dis is heaven in a thread.
I'm not sure about the flaws but I like the idea of taking the e-mail and tracking IP.
How exactly would they track any foreign program?
Other than that, support I guess. |

He didn't read the suggestion, but supported anyway. Which is what confused me.
Unless he was joking of course. |

@Summercakealt
I have no absolute idea. I have a minor idea on how it would obtain the information on possible programs.
Here's an idea: Leave behind a list of possible programs. |

I think within this I mentioned "depending on the offense" or something related to that. But, not, an account cannot be banned forever on account of it being a minor offense. |

| Also, a Moderator mentioned a good point. VAC isn't perfect. He's met hackers in TF2 before. But, I think I mention this within this suggestion thread. "May help reduce," so it's not going to be perfect. |

If they run a test version of this, they can find all of the flaws, and then fix those flaws to make it more secure.

@Rogeke15,
a test version on a separate version of ROBLOX would do something. Briguy had mentioned that there needs to be a way to track them down in the first place. So, there we go. |

No. ROBLOX has not done any good updates recently, and they would probably have a lot of false bans from this, since they don't test before implementing.
I'll leave a list of programs anyways, although some might not work any more. I'll also describe how you'd use them
Cheat Engine, injection, value changing, or byte editing.
Poke, value changing.
Fiddler, interception (Fixed, I believe.)
Aurore, not entirely sure on this (I believe this was fixed too.)
These are the ones I know and can think of off the top of my head.
There are more complicated solutions, but I'm not sure if they'd work.
Here's an example of how this could work.
User starts up CE In user's processes cheatengine.exe is registered as started (I think it varies from version to version, but eh.) ROBLOX says nope, ban.
The only way this wouldn't work is if the user started clouding process names, which is a lot more advanced than most of the skids on ROBLOX would do.

| Actually, they do test things before implementation. Also, yes, what you mentioned about clouding is for more advanced users. Now, there is a process that says ROBLOX and Admins could find out it's name in Youtube videos. |
