Look at forts or bases from popular movies or video games and draw inspiration from them.
Some things I've used over the years-
-crates -wall decorations -statues -furniture (soldiers need tables and chairs too) -floor tiles/other floor deco -wedges to give the walls and doorframes more life -barricades/cover to enlighten firefights
