I agree this would be very nice, but I do not think it is as plausible as it sounds. At present all parts (well, most of them anyway) on ROBLOX are some form of rectangle. Needless to say most meshes are not rectangular.
ROBLOX would need to find a way to automatically fill in all of the space occupied by a mesh with very odd shapes that they don't have at the moment.
For instance, take the mesh for the amazing gear item, The Gravity Gun.

The thin solar-panel like protrusions near the front of the gun are shaped like deformed kites. ROBLOX doesn't really have any shapes that could make a kite, much less a deformed one.
So, Support but I do not think it will happen any time soon. If it does happen it I think it will happen around the same time that they make parts deformable which I think they also said would be harder to do than it sounds. |
