You're sitting in your desk at the mighty Captain's Quarters and observing the skull of some long forgotten plunder of another ship that crashed and burned in history like plenty of other pirates when you are suddenly brought back to reality to wild knocking at your door. Your Captain Boy is obviously at the door, his shrill voice bringing the obvious. "C-captain! Hurry! E-enemies are approaching! We need you to head the ship.. right away! That is, if it's okay with you.."
(1800s European Pirates RP (err, ISRP), at last! Please describe the captain and the reputation/name of ship/bla bla bla in your first post. I think that it will be a 'share' ISRP, first entering post, or the one person whose CS seems most fitting. I'll think about it.)
"Sir, w-w-we need 50% of the 99% a-and the support o-of at least 1% of the 1% if you're gonna have 42% of the 100% to get 50%." |

(All right. I guess people can have their own or play as other pirates on here and such.)
The young lad continues to pound on your door, his voice becoming even more hectic, "Come on, c-cap'in! Those C-Crosses are gaining water quickly towards us and we need your orders on what to d-do!"

He is Dread Pirate John Bowe.
He stands around 6'7 with an athletic build. He has a ripped tendon in his left knee, meaning he has a slight limp. John has untidy ear length greyish hair. He has large ears. He has a hooked end to his nose, his men call him 'Hooky' or 'Hook nose'. He has small lips which are ridden by slight stubble.
Nobody really knows his age, but they estimate it to be around sixty.
He owns a fierce reputation for discipline and horror. He is usually in a bad mood, but he brightens up after killing. Some say that in a fight he feels no pain or emotion, he could be stabbed and not feel it, but still die from it. But luckily nobody has stabbed him.
To go with his reputation he also owns a terrifying ship. 'The Revenant'. It will usually appear from no where or fog and strike as fast as it appears. It has black sails with streaks of red. Before the ship appears the surviving sailors report that a flute is heard, then an all mighty bang. Then they see the sails and the cannons.

-Dread- Your little cabin boy continues to pound on the door, his voice gaining more frantic and at the same time whiny, "Y-you need to get out here! The H-Hoppers are beginning to advanced.. it's one of they're lesser ships but still! We're waiting out here until you come!"
-Drago- "C-cap'in I all ready said! Crosses are advancing and they don't seem to be coming for a cup of tea!"

-Dread- Your crew, (you may choose the name), have had a few encounters with Hoppers. You know that they don't show mercy and have roughened up a few of your crewmates in incident in some port-town tavern. Now, according to your informer, they seem set on vengeance. "I'd say about twelve through twenty five knots and gaining waters quick! They seem to be preparing the cannons as w-we're speaking!"

Everyone jumps into action instantly, the young lad running up to the current header (navigator/'driver' of the Revenant), his name Barren Vins, his navigation decent. The Hoppers' ship is seen gaining speed, with the turn of the Revenant the Hoppers' ship begins to turn as well. A pirate in your crow's nest yells down to you with the report while other pirates are arming the upper and lower cannons, two to some and others having to load and prepare it themselves.
