Perilous Skies: New Horizons will be the sequel to my old hit game, Perilous Skies. This time, however, I want users to come up with how the game should be constructed.
So please post any suggestions you have about it!
- What should the time period be? Past/present/future/totally made-up? - How should the controls work? - How should things be scored - How should planes be earned? - What awesome features should be included? - What should the map be? - Should there be multiple maps/game modes? - Etc.
Guidelines:
- Probably not animated plane parts, due to how laggy that would make things - Not in space - No "VIP" or "Premium" for it

Due to the nature of the title I strongly believe this should be futuristic. Plus, I honestly believe myself and many others would love to see the types of planes you come up with.
- How should the controls work?
Keep the old control system, just make sure you make it clear to the 'new' users what they are. (Obviously)
- How should things be scored
5 Points per kill 3 Points per assist -1 Friendly Fire (Still shooting upon every 5 seconds then dock them another point) -3 Points per suicide -5 per collision
Didn't think this one out thoroughly please edit as you please.
- How should planes be earned?
Points or medals that you get throughout the game for doing specific stuff (i.e killing someone on a 10 kill streak) |

Multitude of Maps. Island, Continent, pure ocean with aircraft carriers.

| Should be set on a futuristic Beach front. One team takes off from an aircraft carrier while the other a runway. Dunno, just some ideas. |

Future based game. <--- This would be simply amazing. There needs to be multiple maps. (Cities, Terrains, Mountains, Oceans) No healing what so ever. Upgrades for planes: Cooldown reduction for missiles, increase fire rate for machine gun, increase the speed of your jet, increase accuracy for machine gun.
I'll probably have more ideas soon.

-Futuristic game please! You'll have to be creative though :P -You could have different planets that the dogfights take place on. Even ask other players for maps to be made (less for you to do) -Each planet could have different effects on the planes :o. Increased speeds, increased air resistance, different gravity even? depending on the atmosphere of the planet! -It could be "minigame" style where the map changes every _ minutes or if 1 man is last standing. -You get "medals". If you get negative medals, you are warned. Then kicked out after that. Negative medals are only earned from teamkill (collisions etc). -The lobby would be an aircraft carrier that sails through SPACE.

(All I want you to use is lock system. Change whatever else. Lol.) - How should things be scored? Hitting, doing a sick maneuver (Barrel rolling to dodge a double rocket, etc.) - How should planes be earned? I was thinking buying/finding parts around the map. To assemble the planes? - What awesome features should be included? More maneuvers. - What should the map be? Multiples, maybe hills, desert, and a forest of tall trees to dodge through. - Should there be multiple maps/game modes? Indeed, power up mode etc. - Etc. Maybe new rockets, like scatter and super homing.

How about team flight battles? Where you have to WORK as a TEAM in order to sink the other teams aircraft carrier, while of course the aircraft carrier would have AA and AAA guns, or maybe another ship would.. I don't know, either way its good. |

- What should the time period be? Past/present/future/totally made-up? The time period should be the Present.
- How should the controls work? The controls should be the same as the first Perilous Skies but if you have added features make the controls to your convenience
- How should things be scored Scoring should be judged on the distance the kill was e.g. 90 studs. It also (if you include rounds) how many kills per round and if you have deaths it should minus the deaths from your score e.g 19 kills - 7 deaths.
- How should planes be earned? Different planes with different features should be earnt in different ways, the higher planes should depend on your KDR (Kill Death Ratio) say a to earn one of the planes you need 20 kills and 0 to 10 deaths etc
- What awesome features should be included? The game should be 1st person and you should have viewing all around the cockpit and instruments on the dash board that cant be interacted but do work, like a compass etc. An ejector seat that kills you when you hit water after you eject (a fancy reset).
- What should the map be? Maps should vary and different seasons should also be a feature like a thunder storm or bright sun or cloudy.
- Should there be multiple maps/game modes? Yes there should be multiple maps and around 3 game modes because ppl have their favourite game modes and I hate waiting for mine to cycle around. So 1 could be dogfight, which is pretty much a deathmatch (team with the most kills wins). There could be a mode where you have to destroy a base or a boat (depending on map) etc

Make an awesome GUI, then make different classes for each plane.
-Heavy # Loads of missiles, ammo. Not a lot of fuel and slow. -Scout # Fast, only a MG. Loads of fuel. Low in health and not much ammo.
And so on |

Do steampunk, that'd just be awesome.
For controls, maybe something that uses the W A S D keys? With S being a break, W to boost(for a short time) and the A, D keys to do the Aileron roll (fyi, it's the real term of Starfox's barrel roll) The camera & plane will automatically follow your mouse around and the left mouse button is your fire button (Missiles are not designated to a button in the keyboard, the weapons can be changed by just using the number keys) Also, maybe when you're close enough to the enemy, pressing the right mouse button would allow you to zoom in the general direction of the enemy third person style and shoot at it, but you'll still be able to lose the plane if it goes out of your sight and your camera goes back behind you. (Like the one in the new Ace Combat game)
Also, for multiplayer modes, do 'Frigate Defense'
A team game where a player for each team gets to be the Frigate The Frigate is a huge, controllable ship that's with huge firepower but with long cooling time for each weapon This frigate is also the spawn of their respective teams.

Whoops I forgot what you do in Frigate defense You just try to blow up the opposition's frigate
Also, for planes maybe you could let us build our own planes? Like you'll be able to earn money just landing an attack on your enemy (more points if he explodes in the process) then you'll be able to change your chassis, wings, and gun types, you know? But make the points reset each round (but also add an 'archive' where we would be able to save our planes into and repurchase the parts in the next round, without having to do all the customization again.) |

- Future - Steer with the mouse, go faster with either the up and down arrow keys or the w and d keys, respectively. - By taking out other planes, of course! :P - Self guided missiles? - There should be several maps...One like a city...One a ruins, stuff like that? - Yeah...Just said that. Lolz |

| Hey,one of the game modes should be Bomber Run-a city that one team protects,and the other tries to bomb the city.-5 points for the defending team when a bomb hits. |

Its possible with a huge 3K line script...
Hmm, maybe make this a bit navel base too? Eh? Let me explain, On some maps you can become a small AA ship (I forgot there class name..) and could go around shooting planes out of the sky.. But don't forget, you can easily become a metal coffin. |

ok first lets get going cause there is bunch of things to get a head start.
"What should the time period be? Past/present/future/totally made-up?" - i think it should be in the future for better weaps and thrusters. "How should the controls work?" - I think the controls should be ^E^ for Mini-guns, ^B^ for Bombs (if equipped) ^F^ for Missiles, ^V^ for view (interior and plane view), ^S^ stats and ^G^ for boosters (if equipped), and ^X^ for death/reset. "How should things be scored?" - every kill 100 points, on death -10 points (not on reset), assist 50. "How should planes be earned?" - buy plane or by badge. "What awesome features should be included?" - Interior view, inside aircraft for shops, garage (plane selector) and upgrade (can be customize). "What should the map be?" - Sunny, water (sea) a little land (islands) and can see aircraft carriers. "Should there be multiple maps/game modes?" - no i think it should be death-match or capture the flag (if you want cause i don't care).
