| I haven't actually seen anything about it. I think it's just a rumor. |

I thought it was just supposed to be games with an overuse of violence.

They're not being banned. But a representative of Missouri proposed a sales tax on games not rated E and E 10+ depending on how violent they are. However it would only apply to Missouri.

@mikeyman
That's BS. Good thing I don't live in Missouri. I hope people there protest that. That's a blatant violation of the first amendment. |

Well games like Sims would have little to no taxing. But CoD and Halo and most other FPS games would probably see a price increase of about be raised from 60 dollars to about... 75-80. Also any game with a weapon would be taxed.

@GoogleAttack
"Physically, the Rohirrim were a tall, blonde, and mostly blue eyed people. They were fiercely independent and conservative, remaining within their own language and culture. Their horses were very important assets in their everyday lives with their entire culture being based around the breeding and trading of them. Their people lived mostly in villages on the plains of Rohan where their horses grazed."

| Vidoe Games are not the problem. Gun control is not the problem. It is mental care that is the problem. Those idiotic congressmen are dodging the real issue: how to help the mentally inept. |

Abomb is actually right; those lunatics get adictted of GTA and get mentally plugged in, like if real life was GTA and they would cause shootings.

| That is not what I am saying. I am saying videogames are not the issue. Mental care is the issue. For most people with the conditions these shooters have, the only option is to be institutionalized (jail) |
