Re: A Twinkling

The dry grass crackled underneath the footsteps of the group, it was a dark, starry night, and many beautiful constellations twinkled in the sky. A boy in the front, who was pointing out some of the constellations to the group, didn't have a home in the village to go back to, so when all the other kids left to go back to their homes. Gazing up at the stars that he saw so often, the stars he left a part of.
Some of his favorite constellations included, "The Celestic Hand", "The Watcher", and "The Flower", which almost seemed to bloom around midnight, and then withdraw back into a bud around dawn. He had been teaching this group, his friends, of the group since he was twleve, and somehow, nobody in the village had found out their children were sneaking out some nights.
As the last of the stragglers began to wander back towards the village, yawning and shuffling as they walked. Leaving the boy standing in the circle of flattened grass, a single figure in the dying plain. He seemed at peace almost, with the stars shining a divine light onto him. He looked toward one constellation, one he had never told his friends about, "The Father", and said, "What should I do now?"
At first, there was nothing, then, one by one, the stars in this constellation slowly focused their dazzling light towards him, slowly melding together into a solid beam of light. Then, a voice only he could hear said, "You have given me your allegience. Your heart and soul belong to me. My powers will trickle to you, across the heavens and planets, as long as you do as I say."
"I still don't understood." The boy said, his voice sounding frail and weak in comparison. "I've done what you said. I left my family for the wilderness, struggled through living out here. I gathered kids from my town, and showed them the living constellations, yet you don't tell me why, or give me any hints to why this is even important."
"You are the first of many." The old star says, "There will soon be one messanger for each of the living stars. A powerful individual to guide the children of the town. To be the survivors, survivors of the coming storm. The living stars are not the only godly beings, but the others, malevelent forces, are planning something, we don't quite know yet, but whatever they will do. We need to be prepared."
"Some of the forces inhabit full constellations like us, but many of them can only control a single star with the power, but many of these are getting stronger. A few of what we guess are the leaders are moving themselves closer everyday, "The Feline", "The Jagged Bolt", "The Scar", aand "Drithar", the wandering star. These stars and constellations are evil, do your best not to look at them. Their influence could pullute your thought, maybe even attempt to take control of you." He continues, sending a short image of the different stars and constellations.
"Now my Son. Bring me you most trusted, and well taught friends. If they match what is needed, I will place them with a living star, may it be, "The Flower", "The Celestic Hand", "The Watcher", "The Canine", "Crawling Vines", "Korthay", the spiral star, "Sporado", the bouncing star, or "Drala", the bright. I wish you luck in your search, and bring each person into the clearing indicidually, for the, testing. "As the voice fades the sounds of nighttime slowly fading back into existance, "And remember, that you must never give up."
The next day, the boy gathered up his group of kids, and took them to a small clearing in a forest, one that he know only too well. Where he himself found, "The Father". The boy kept most of them back with him, gradually letting them through to talk with the leader of the living stars, his constellation.

~Notes~
Rules are whatever I say, I would assume you know rules of a roleplay.
I is the boy, and maybe another.
So I guess two characters.
If you don't like it please tell me why, unless it's simply the genre, because then I don't care.
Yup, I'm bored.

"Hello mortal, don't be afraid of my voice. What is your name?":
"E-erm..." I stutter, amazed at the mighty powers of the stars. "M-my name is..." I regain my voice. "My name is Tybalt. Tybalt Forthwind. Erm, Ty for short."
"How o.ld are you? We don't want toddlers of elders running around.":
I snort. "I'm not a toddler." I retort. "I'm Fourteen."
"I don't have eyes, try to give me a picture of what you look like. Your clothes, physical features, ge.nder, and anything special about the way you look.":
"What, can't you see me?" I sigh. "Fine, if I must. I'm above average height at a few inches above five feet. I'm wearing a black cloak over my dirty blonde hair. I know, it's messy, but I don't have time to clean it. When I do, it's nearly white. When I don't, it's practically black." I state, before continuing. "I have bright blue eyes, nearly white, and my skin is pale from being under the hood from the sun - simply too hot. I don't like sulight, but I love starli - I'm getting off topic, sorry." I murmur. "I have cuts on my body from traveling, and my tough leather boots are worn from walking, leather gloves worn from climbing. I have a light but still worthwhile leather padding under my cloak, which has a tough and ragged black shirt underneath, my traveling pants matching this color.
"I know my son has taught you some of the constellations, which is your favorite one?":
"I love starlight. The more I can see, and nearly feel, the brighter, the better. My favorite constellation is Drala, the brightest star." I slowly drag the hood of my cloak over my head to b.athe in the starlight, as I slowly get more comfortable with the situation and relax.
"Tell me some about yourself, your hobbies, family, friends, accidents, and how you think of yourself.":
"Well, it's... it's a long story. I'm originally from a bustling city, a merchant's son - his business was selling weapons and armor to the people of the city. Oh, a grand city it was!" I exclaim. "The sights you could see! The fountain in the square, filled with water flowing gracefully from a stone fish's mouth. The bustling merchant's square, filled with brightly colored stalls, with brightly colored merchants, and brightly colored goods from around the whole land! Most of all, the grand castle! A magnificent sight! Towering over the city, tough brick walls, golden gates... something out of a fairytale, I tell you." I shout, excited and in a better mood than I have been in so, so long. "We sold weapons to the people of the city - the guards, the soldiers. He had a good living, and I learnt the basics of smithing."
"From five till ten, I learnt the ways of the pen, hammer, sword and the voice at a good school, paid for by my family - well, my father. I do not know of my mother. I have heard about her beauty and her spirit, but I never knew her. She died before I was old enough to remember anything. I wish I knew her, because she was apparently a hero of the city, protecting it valorously from waves of foes. I no longer believe that a single being could do such a thing, though." I seem to look up in awe, remembering the courageous tails of my mother, before looking back down.
"What did I learn?" I say. "Why, I learned how to write, and to read. I learnt how to prospect metals, and how to use those metals in order to create a weapon, and how to use what I have created. I also learnt a large amount of mythical tales as I learnt about great literature, and areas of interest, a map to go with it." I laugh, but cynically. "Like literature will help me now."
My smile slowly fades away now, though. I would have to speak of the darker and hor.rible side of my past, the c.ruel toils. I reluctantly begin to murmur "It did not last, however. The..." I whim.per a bit, before getting enough courage to unsteadily stutter "Our whole was raided, destroyed. My father..." I w.himper again. I barely manage to choke out "Kill.ed..." before moa.ni.ng quietly. "There's... there's not really much else to say about me. I travel, and travel, never stopping, for the bandits that now own the city are still after me, the heir to the business, to force me to work for them. My boots are worn, and my clothes ragged, but I cannot stop. I can't ever stop."
The light beams turn, and scan over you. You feel it searching inside of you, checking your soul for any evil.:
I relax, trying to take in every bit of the precious little light I get in my life. My skills of combat and crafting are great, but so is my knowledge of areas and literature, though I seem to be suppressing the latter thoughts whilst carefully thinking of the former.
My personality seems to be hars.h, and slightly unforgiving, definitely cy.nical. There isn't much traces left, but it seems I was once a energetic young boy, happy and carefree. The weight on my shoulders now is immense, and I have craw.led into my own soul, heart and mind, separating them from the outside world.
Tybalt definitely seems on edge, though, even with this - however, it seems that he's cool and collected, a bit less harsh, whilst - surprisingly - either hidden in a crowd or a dark cave, starlight dripping in through cracks, since he does not fear being spotted within a crowd and starlight in the dark always calms him, the brighter, the more relaxed.
"Let me think about what you've told me.":
I s.nort. "What, why do you even NEED to know? I still don't fully understand who you are, that kid only told me a bit. Ugh, no matter." I start walking off into the distance, starlight trickling down my body. |

[LOL LE REPOST]
"Hello mortal, don't be afraid of my voice. What is your name?"
"My name, ah, my name. It would be Lucius De Marco. But, most people call me Marco." I spoke dryly, as I remained within the shadows.
"How o.ld are you? We don't want toddlers of elders running around."
"I near eightteen. Or was it nineteen? What does it matter."
"I don't have eyes, try to give me a picture of what you look like. Your clothes, physical features, gender, and anything special about the way you look."
"Let me see, black hair, a more muscled, yet lean physique. My hair is slightly shaggy, and goes down almost to my shoulders in the back, while the bangs reach my eyebrows. I have more tanned skin, as well as light grey eyes. Some say they have an icy look to them. At the moment, I wear dark brown leather pants, a nice looking leather jerkin, and a fur coat, straight from a bear." I stated, with a hint of dignity at the bear coat. I licked my lips before continuing on "I am not without scars, no. The one that stands out is the one running from above my eyebrow, to my jaw. Accidents happen I suppose. Well, I guess you could say my arms have more distinguished muscles from the rest of my body, but that is probably from assisting Mr. Balvic at his farm." I racked my mind for other things, but nothing really came straight to mind. [There are littler things I could mention, but thinking more realistically, not many people would think of those things when speaking about themselves.]
"I know my son has taught you some of the constellations, which is your favorite one?"
I thought for a moment, always coming back to the same conclusion "The Watcher. Sometimes, it's best to watch than it is to participate."
"Tell me some about yourself, your hobbies, family, friends, accidents, and how you think of yourself."
"Hmm, alot to ask, no? Hobbies. Let's star there.. I like to hunt, and do a bit of swordplay, yes. The hunting is obvious, but I do the swordplay because I would like to be a soldier. I also enjoy several other things like carving, and honestly, working." I scratched my neck, sitting down, before continuing "My younger brother died at birth, my father works a few towns down, as getting good work around here isn't that easy.. Other than that, either they don't live here or their dead.." I left out my mother, I didn't like to relive that day.. "Okay, sadly, well actually I don't feel sad about it but I don't really have many friends. I don't need them. I like to watch, simple as that. Now, I think I will skip the accidents part. Too many to tell, too many to remember." I fiddled with my fingers, dreading this last part "Honestly, I don't like to think about myself. I am cold, and apathetic. I am not a bad person in the ways that make me 'Evil', but I am bad. Plain and Simple." I got back to my feet.
The light beams turn, and scan over you. You feel it seraching inside of you, checking your soul for any evil.
A very apathetic person, which in turns makes him seem cold, heartless, and horrible. All of these things are partially true. He feels no sympathy for those around him, which makes him the perfect person to sit back and watch. He is sarcastic, and a bit of a joker. He is a calm person, and is keen on details. [This will develop as the RP continues]
"Let me [NOT] think about what you've told me [BECAUSE YOU ARE SO AWESOME IS CRAZY]." |

Incase you couldn't tell already, I'm skinny for my age and only rags. *murmurs something* I have scars running up the right side of my face, dark brown eyes, and shoulder length black hair."
"Tell me some about yourself, your hobbies, family, friends, accidents, and how you think of yourself." "Could that just wait until later? I don't like talking about my personal life . . ."
"You'll need to tell me about your life at some point, or at least your guide." (I knew that wouldn't work XD)

"When we first moved here, me and my brother were homeless, then a kind man lent us his home, but I guess that was no use now."I finished.

"Hello mortal, don't be afraid of my voice. What is your name?"
"Of course, name first. Charles McCain." I say quite amazed.
"How old are you? We don't want toddlers of elders running around."
"I know what you mean, my age is thirteen. That okay, right?" I say putting my right hands behind my heads.
"I don't have eyes try to give me a picture of what you look like. Your clothes, physical features, gender, and anything special about the way you look."
"Fair enough then, must be annoying having no eyes. My average height is 5"5 and I aint getting taller no time soon. I have black scruffy hair with covers my right eyes, which annoys me. I have a few freckles on my cheeks, a small nose. I think. Blue ocean eyes.. hmmm, white teeth... Oh my manners I forgot my gender, Male. Now, for what I wear, hmm... I guess I wear a whitish shirt.. a bit dirty, infact, the clean thing I wear or have is my trousers at the moment. I wear sandels that fit me perfectly. I guess that alright... for a description of my self." I take a deep breath after that long paragraph of me.
"I know my son has taught you some of the constellations, which is your favorite one?"
"My favourite, well that has to be Sporado. Bouncing, jumping. Whatever, jumping is fun, also has a cool name!" I say getting a bit excited.
"Tell me some about yourself, your hobbies, family, friends, accidents, and how you think of yourself."
"Let me start off with hobbies then, Mostly exploring and playing football. My family... well I have no sisters or Brothers, and my dad died in a accident so I am quite lonely with my mum working all day" I take a breath and carry on. "Friends, well that has to be everyone here at the moment I guess! Accidents, well if you consider the one about my dad a accident then that I guess." I think a quick second about the last thing and carry on again. "Think about my self? A friendly, hyper person who always wants to be on a adventure!"
The light beams turn, and scan over you. You feel it searching inside of you, checking your soul for any evil. (( Personality. ))
"Woah cool! I say looking at the light, if you want to know my personality then here I go!" I think of something to say. "Well, I am kind and friendly, hyper and talks a lot.
