Basic Rules of The Department of Transportation (DoT) Like all government agencies we have a set of rules as a DoT member we must follow. These basic rules are some of the most important to remember. Oh, and I know that you already know this but this is just a friendly reminder. BASIC RULES • Drivers will stay on the right side of road at ALL times. • Drivers will follow all road signs. i.e.: Stop signs, traffic lights, one way signs, Etc. • Drivers will stay in posted speed limit. i.e.: 1 click of M= 20MPS 2 clicks of M=50 Etc. • ALL DoT employees will listen to DoT field supervisors and law enforcement. • The field supervisors job is to make sure all DoT members are going there job. (Remember that field supervisors are there to help you. If you need help with a person or something contact a field supervisor on that server.) • DoT security’s job is to protect DoT drivers. i.e. Ride around with a DoT member. • DoT security SHOULD drive is no DoT employees are on DC. • ALL DoT get national holidays off of work. :) • You are not permitted to take people to the White house or the Island under the big bridge by were DoD used to be. • Your guns (SIG P226) are not to be abused. Guns should NEVER be fired at ANYONE with a valid reason. i.e. Someone (A visitor/citizen) is pointing a gun at YOU! Is such event happens and that person try’s to shoot you. Then you can shoot them to scare them off. Do not aim to kill unless told. Then contact law enforcement RIGHT AWAY. Remember, YOU have the right to bear arms. • You should be on DC more than 3 times a week. Inactive people have the right to be exiled by the Secretary Of Transportation • Leaving DoT without resigning or saying anything will make you not able to rejoin again. PUNISHMENT FOR RULE BREAKING • Minor rule breaking will result in a reminder. I.e. Driving on wrong side of road, Running red light, Etc. Unless the person in question repeatedly breaks said rule. In that case 1 week suspension may be put in place. • Suspension’s mean that you cannot drive for that said time. • Rule breaking like abusing gun, reckless driving, Etc, Will result in a up to 2 week suspension. • Repeatedly doing any of the rule breaking above a lot will result in exile. Inactiveness could also result in exile. • Just because your not punished by me that you are off the hook. FPS may still charge you for stuff you did. Any charges made valid by FPS can result in suspension. *These rules are not all the rules. Rules are subject to change by the current Secretary of Transportation.*
Thank you, Rat458 Secretary of Transportation
