| This is a little rant on YouTube ads. Why should we have to wait for a video? It's nice that we can skip SOME ads, but even then, we have to wait 5 or so seconds. WHY? My idea is just to put ads off to the side without interrupting the video, and I'm all good. Besides, people don't really like video ads. If YouTube listened to the haters, watching videos could just be straight to what the viewers wanted to see. Back to the waiting part, I've seen an ad that is over one and a half minute and you CANNOT skip. WHAT THE HECK? Granted, it was a choice of what ads you could see (sort of), but we shouldn't have to wait that LOOONG. I also find it unfair YouTube partners get to choose whether or not their videos have ads, but regular users can't. They should have equal rights in terms of ads! Speaking of the partners, some of them have been using ads to exploit disasters/diseases/murder FOR MONEY! THAT IS NOT COOL! THAT IS CRUEL TO THE DEAD AND OBLIVIOUS TO THE SUFFERING OF THEIR FAMILIES!!!!!!!!! I WISH VIDEO ADS HAD NEVER BEEN MADE TO BEGIN WITH!! No catch phrase this time because I talked about how I despise the concept of exploitation of death. |

They actually can.
Regular users can monetize their videos, so the views will get ads. |

| But they could still use ads off to the side instead of video ads and to have the money paid be the viewers clicking on it go to the producers of the ad and no one else. |

| @tennis I don't have a YouTube account. No need to get defensive over it. |

You don't need a YT account. If you have Google Chrome, you can get AdBlock.

| Don't be so lazy to wait 5-30 seconds to watch a video. |

| I don't think there should be any waiting at all. And I also mentioned an unskippable ad that is exceeds 1:30 |

The ads are not that long.
Besides, some of the ads I see are quite funny/interesting. |

| So you saw an ad that was 1:30 and unskippable? Bull crap. In fact, the ads become skippable when they are 0:20. |

| That'd mean no interference, but it'd still work. Compromising. That's the way I prefer it. |
