| I'm trying to create animations, however the wiki is of no help. I'd greatly appreciate it if anyone could explain to me how CFrame works and how would I animate arms or legs properly. Also, I might need a simple example to understand the concept completely for the slow learner I am. |

CFrame is the absolute position and angle of the object, hense "CoordinateFrame". I'm not good at CFrame or animating things, try contacting Crazyman32. He's pretty good with CFrame, not sure about animation though. |

For limbs, you're not going to want just CFrame. You'll need to understand how C0 and C1 function - C1 being the inverse object-space of C0's world space.
Two terms right there - object-space and world-space. You'll need to learn those two.
Right now, typical animations consist of recording frames. However, you don't have to do it that way thanks to Stravant's port of the matrix-interpolation.
It allows one to smoothly interpolate a start matrix (CFrame - matrix is another name for it) and an end matrix. You would only need two frames. However, they might need to be in short pairs (a start and end pair) due to the fact that it will skip unneeded steps, which you might see as details in the animation. |

| Object-space, as I explain here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sClE5avo618, is the matrix (or position) _relative_ to another object. |

"Mr... You told us in 2010-2011 that you were a female.."
Technically, we said that back in 2009-10. |

Oh that's nothing. I want to upload some other more interesting covers with a 12-string....
I'm changing the camera because it couldn't get the entire me. I might let my other self play 6 string with me while I play 12-string. |

Thanks for the answer. I understand how C0 and C1 work now, and I remember learning about object-space and world-space at 9th grade mathematics. Stravant's matrix interpolation sounds great, how can I use it? |

if you go to stravant's Roblox Wiki page, he has a subpage called /quaternioninterpolate.

also if you use his plugin AnimEdit, that features interpolation as well.
i can never seem to get his plugin to work, however. |
