| Who in the word is stupid enough to take their car and smash it into a tree? The main reason for learning to drive at this age is so you can help out on the farm. |

| I have more religious, political and social freedom, plus my mother isn't also my aunt, which is an upside to not living in the country |

I live in the Netherlands.
It being one of the most densely populated countries of the world, there isn't a such thing as 'country' here.
We have farms, but there's always a city nearby.

No, I live in the "country", and we have the same rules and laws as the city. You can just do more because of the space, for example quadding and snowmobiling.
Not all "country people" learn to drive when they're 8. An 8 year old can't even see over the steering wheel or reach the pedals. |

| @skellor I'm not saying your opinion is bad but I couldn't stand not being able to run around and riding dirt bike. |

Yeah I didn't meen freedoms such as laws. I meant we have more freedom to ride dirt bike, go snowmobiling play in the shelterbelts.
When I was 8 I was able to see over the wheel and reach the pedals. |

You can ride dirt bikes in the city as long as your neighbours aren't asses.
Most 8 year olds can't see over a wheel and reach the pedals, some still need a booster seat. Yeah, you shouldn't be learning to drive until you're 15.

That's stupid, why should you wait until your 15 to learn to drive? When you can get your permit at age 14, why wait to learn until you are 15? (In ND, you can get your permit at 14 and license at 15) |
