Ever since summer of 2011, I have been advocating for Republics and ideals for liberty. It has been an experiment to change clans political climate, and introduce new ideas of freedom for the individual.

I have seen many clans change for the better, and worse, and have sadly come to the end of my experiment.

I've had a lot of experience in Republics, and clans that have tried to turn into Republics; yet the truth is, that the Roblox culture is full of lazy people. People are too lazy to figure out who to vote for, so when they get a spam PM to vote for one guy, they'll just vote for him. Then people are too lazy to actually do the job that they're elected to do. The members are too lazy to care, so little gets done, and whatever does get done, is negative and bad for the group.

I have seen this happen from MB to UCR to RDA. Elections come up, and elections fall down. Why? Because the wrong people are getting elected. Why are the wrong people getting elected? Because the members aren't thinking about it, they aren't researching.

A Self-Governing people is the pre-requisite of all Republics. For a Republic to work, its citizens must be willing to elect their leaders, and not intrude upon others rights.

In the age of Public Schools, and Television, and the Internet, and Pop culture, and peer pressure, our culture is being eroded. Our generation is getting lazy and stupid, and we are not fighting for the natural rights of a human being. We have, from the Magna Carta to the U.S. Constitution, a just system that is no longer being defended.

A side effect of this, is that true Republics have fallen.

The majority of Robloxians are either too lazy or too stupid, to be able to maintain a Republic. The people who aren't stupid, will have to earn more power just so that they can control the group, and prevent it from falling into chaos, and turning it back into a dictatorship, where the power corrupts the smart people.

So the final conclusion:
Every clan, no matter what the design, no matter what the freedoms given, are all ticking time bombs. Republics and their freedoms only prolong the time. Some Republics will blow shorter than others, some will fall from inactivity shorter than others, but any clan, no matter what the make, size, and political climate, will all suffer from a Horatio45, or Snakestormshadow, or Hacker1leo, or Roony, or a TDFall, who will corrupt the system.

God Bless you all,
~Corridon.

P.S. Any chance the culture problem can be fixed? Plox? Pretty plox?
