I like and draw animals. I do not dress up as animals or do dirty things to animals. You guys have been brainwashed by stereotypes. Go sit in the corner and think about your life. Yes, there are a select few furries who arent good, but that doesnt mean you can just put the whole fandom down. |

I'm sorry for the sheer amount of illiterates who enjoy to make Roblox their nesting place. Furries are none of the things described, and are in fact a very enjoyable community. If you find the right one. While yes, furries are infamous for their... entertainment, community; that in no way defines all and every furry community.
A furry is a very sensitive concept. But the most frequently used definition is an animal which stands on two legs and has some or many characteristics of a human. e.g. Furries stand on two legs. Furries can speak and use intelligent language.
A furry community is a community of artists. It doesn't matter what kind, there are furry pixel artists, story writers, animators, costume makers, and many more. A furry doesn't even have to be an artist, they could just take interest in the concept or the community.
Long story short, Furries are people.
I hope this explains things :3
Signed, a former furry. |

| No matter what community it is, if jokes are made about something, the community strikes at them and won't give up until they feel confident in their superioty. Please note that this is OT, and none of the things most anyone says are supposed to make sense, or mean things. If you wan't a more logical conversation, find a different fourm. Because this is the fourm where braincells are murdered. |

ahem
furries are diverse - let me say that first and it's this one fact which confuses the worst we don't all have costumes, or collect stuffed toys so allow me to separate the signal from the noise first off, what's furry? that's and easy thing to tell: it's an animal that happens to be human as well. in technical terms we call it anthropomorphics, but it's easy to explain without all the linguistics; if it walks like a person but it meows like a cat, you've got yourself a furry - it's as simple as that! if it talks like a person and flies like a bird, then it's still a furry even though it sounds absurd. |
