| How would I make it so bricks welded to the character but parented under something other than the character will not cause collision? Unchecking CanCollide does not seem to work. |

That is weird... Maybe just parent them into the character instead, or add an ignore function(if you're ray casting).

The problem is, I want the player to be able to see them in first person mode, but I also want to be able to use them for my animations.
Both do not seem to be possible at this point.
There is no raycasting involved.
When I weld the brick to my character, my legs catch it and I start flying. |

OH! Even if you have an UnCollidable Brick, you still touch it, you know how when you touch uncollidable bricks you still move a little bit? That's the same with what's happening to you, the ROBLOX physics still has some bugs to fix... Either way try to move it away from your legs that's the only thing I can think off.
