Note: I personally hate flyakam. If you are a fan of him in some sort, shoo.

The Discovery of Fort Daedalus

"Impossible!" scoffed an officer in the Urban Assault Forces. "That man could never make it alive to that ring! Or, on the other hand, get a crew to accompany him!"
He stared at his notice. He had found it in his UAF insta-mail system and had printed it out to show other officers at Fort Patria. He had stormed in to the room, dedicated to make others laugh at the foolish RobloxianWarrior3, only to find everybody already doing so.
"I don't know," answered another officer. He had just recently come in, but still knew from regular gossip what the news was. "He's already a very dedicated countryman. And well, SirOctober has his ways."
The first officer stared at the newcomer. “What?” he retorted. “You actually think that trip is even half smart?”
“It can’t be that hard,” the second officer said.
“Do you have any tiny idea how-”
"I disagree with you, flyakam," responded an unknown voice. Out of the shadows came RobloxianWarrior3 himself. "I'm sure I could make it without too much trouble. And for my friend, SirOctober," he paused to chuckle, "He definitely has his ways. Now what were you saying? Something about my trip being impossible?"
"Ummm..." flyakam staggered. He then left the room.
"Spy," RobloxianWarrior3 grumbled, turning to the remaining officer. “That twit. Much better." He smiled.
All the other jeering officers had left, stunned by the Private’s sudden appearance and disagreement with the atrocious flyakam.
"Are you sure of this trip of yours?" asked the officer. "People have perished out there easier than, well I don't know."
"I recognize this," RobloxianWarrior3 replied. "But I’ll make it. Have some confidence in me." he smiled again.
The officer thought a moment and replied, "I can respect this. But be careful out there. You're a tremendous officer and I would hate to lose you."
"Thank you," the Private replied.
The officer turned to leave the room. He stopped. “That fake smile of yours, it’s very convincing.” RobloxianWarrior3 smiled; real that time though.
The second officer left the room. RobloxianWarrior3 sighed. "This is going to be one tough trip..."

He retired to his is quarters at Fort Patria. He stared at his propaganda poster and sighed again. He returned to his maps.
Twenty kilometers north of Hydroelectric Base Akvo, about 150 miles from where he now sat, the ring hid, always covered in dense fog. That highly annoying factor made nearly any expedition to this ring of land impossible. Rumors had spread of mysterious actions in its vicinity already before other expeditions. The founder of the ring, the S.S. Portside had sunk 5 minutes after the message had been sent. It had sunk along with the S.S. Gamma and the S.S. Acadia, all in efforts to unlock the secrets of this mysterious place. Nobody knows why, and they have never been found. This was the part that worried RobloxianWarrior3 the most. Rumor has it they all crashed into the ring; unable to see where they were headed.
‘Fog lights,’ he thought. ‘Order fog lights,’ he sighed. At least he had thought of something that might help him. He was really getting very worried.
That fog, another extremely scary factor for him to consider. It was so obvious and regular, but had such destructive and unfortunate properties.
He continued on his studying: After three failed attempts by boat, a captured air fleet from the Vaktonians was sent to discover what was there. It was nearly a reconnaissance, sending the fleet to they're death after a raid at RAT Fort Borealis. They never came back either from their journey. Some say they're still out there, lost in fog forever.
There was a small knock at the door. RobloxianWarrior3 answered. He opened the door to see Private RobloxianWarrior1, his best friend.
“The old telegram system is up and running,” is friend said. “I presume you still plan to take your voyage, correct?”
“Yes, comrade,” said RobloxianWarrior3. “I plan to leave for Akvo within the week. Thank you.” He replastered his infamous fake smile. RW1 winked and smiled.
He softly closed the door and headed out of the building to the garage. RobloxianWarrior3 watched his friend walk down the skyway to the North wing.
His friend seemed to disappear, into the smooth glass. Trapped. Trapped forever and unable to ever get out. Only to be sunk down into endless, murky depths. Down, down, down into perilousness; trapped forever.
A tear fell from his eye. It fell down, down onto the floor. Down, trapped, endless, cold. He swallowed, hard.
He turned away, choking back tears and peered again at his charts. He was trapped in an endless and never ending problem. He was trapped only to go down into infinity and foolishness. He had a tremendous journey; only to sink down, down, down into a cold and endless void. He looked down at his feet. They seemed infinitely far away. 'I am nuts' he told himself; and he walked out of the room.

Nearly six months after the captured Vaktonian fleet disappeared, SirOctober's boat, named the S.S. Valkyrie, led now by RobloxianWarrior3 was being prepared for its journey. It was transported down by Akvo Dam and Hydroelectric Base where it would set off for an approximately 20 kilometer journey through fog. With a crew of 24 rowers and the brave Private SirOctober, everybody was more ready than ever, however genuinely frightened. It was very dangerous, considering that their boat was only a simple trireme crafted by SirOctober himself.
They set out on an already foggy morning. The date was July 18, 2012, a day that would make history; for better for worse. “Pull up the anchor! Here’s a good wind!” ordered Private SirOctober to his crew. Eventually the S.S. Valkyrie sped up to a decent speed and went along into thicker and thicker fog.
Back at the docks, a man in a long overcoat stepped up to the front of the dock. “Impossible,” he muttered. He retired to a smaller boat along the other edge of the lake.
Anchoring for safety every twenty meters after approximately 18 kilometers of traveling away from Akvo, Private RobloxianWarrior3 was yet to have anything go wrong majorly. Everyone was holding their breath and was scared out of their minds as the eerie fog thickened. Suddenly the space between the Valkyrie and the sea floor dropped dramatically. Someone screamed. Had they hit the "monster"? One officer panicked and nearly crashed his oar on the side of the boat. Thankfully, it was only the ring it had been found once again.
The crew gasped and everyone stood strait and still, perfectly at attention for might happen. The Privates ordered the fog lights up from below deck, breaking the eternal silence. Some say there was a splash of water as if something had went through a wave of the lake. Perhaps something out there anyway...
Up they came with the fog lights and there it was: the ring. It was shrouded in mystery and looked menacing, trying to see it through the fog. However looking up, down and all around with the fog lights, there was no clear way around or to the other side of the ring.
The fog seemed to just stretch on and on. There was no end to it. RobloxianWarrior3 looked up and around. His head began to spin. Down, down, falling, falling, fallen. Down it all went into infinity. It got surrounded by darkening blue, completely shrouded by the thickness. Everything cracked under pressure, splashing everywhere, down, down onto him, crushing, completely- Private! Private! What? Was there a Survivor?
“PRIVATE!” SirOctober was screaming now. The whole crew was gapping at their captain. RobloxianWarrior3 stared back, startled, perhaps even amazed at his new surroundings.
“What’s wrong, buddy?” SirOcto asked, crouching over his friend. There was something in his eye: genuine fear.
“Nightmare,” RobloxianWarrior3 stuttered. It sounded more like ‘nit bare.’ “Some nightmare,” SirOcto said. “Seeming you were fine two minutes ago.”
“Let’s go,” RobloxianWarrior3 ordered. SirOctober nodded.
Co-Captain of the ship, Private SirOctober ordered the trireme turned to the right to continue along the wall of the cave. A mark was made to show their first contact so they wouldn't turn round and round the ring forever. They floated around the edge of the ring and then the wall suddenly let up.
"What happened?" Private RobloxianWarrior3 shouted, still shaken. SirOctober, keeping his cool (better than everyone else at least) ordered a right turn and they continued once again along the wall. Still no end to the wall in any direction was in sight. Then the lights shined on something with depth on the wall. Was it a monster’s secret cave? Perhaps it was, but regardless, it got them to the other side.
A small whir seemed to follow them around. Was just the lake? Was there something there? SirOcto had heard something as well.
He turned toward his friend. RobloxianWarrior3 spoke first. “There’s something, someone perhaps following us.”
They peered through the dank tunnel. There was a faint whir somewhere; the echo made it clear.
“I’ll keep lookout,” SirOctober said and stared out at attention for anything. His friend puzzled over this whole new problem. There was something off about SirOcto right now, just what was the problem. He bet it was the genuine fear or perhaps a whole different (possibly worse) problem.
On the bright side, it was definitely a great idea anyway to use a trireme like the Valkyrie because there were only centimeters to spare between the oars and the cave walls. Then the cave opened up and, unlike in most movies how everything is suddenly crystal clear and you can find exactly what you want, it was just as foggy inside there. After sailing around for a while, a small mound of terrain that could easily be expanded off was noticed. The Valkyrie was sailed to the island.
"Nice and gently boys," SirOctober shouted as they were nearing a small mound.
"Lower the anchor!" shouted RobloxianWarrior3 as the bow crested over the terrain. "Someone go scout." A deckhand volunteered and was sent onto the terrain.
As soon as the central island was deemed safe, RobloxianWarrior3 was getting ready to have fog evaporation systems placed. "Lower the systems down!" He shouted over the commotion.
Crash! “What the hell was that?!?” shouted SirOctober “What did you idiots do?”
RobloxianWarrior3 climbed up the rope ladder hanging from the bow. At the top he sighted something terrible. The ‘deckhand idiots’ as SirOcto had begun to call them, had dropped one of the evaporation system exhaust pipes on the deck. Some of the boards under the pipe had cracked. His friend, still down on the mainland, would go absolutely nuts about this.
He bit his tongue. He was still uneasy about what had happened when he went into, well what was it? What would he do? “He ordered in a soft voice to the man who had dropped the pipe, “Haul the pipe out, now before SirOcto or myself kills you!”
The man nodded solemnly, afraid to speak. He picked up the pipe with another man fuming from the surprise below. It took forever, it seemed, but it was finally gotten out.
“Fix these boards or you know how much hesitation SirOcto’ll have chopping your head off,” RobloxianWarrior3 warned. RobloxianWarrior3 was getting rather good at being able to go absolutely nuts against anybody who seemed to be antagonizing them.
Paranoia. That was what SirOcto was feeling. It all fit together: worried about what could be following them, unsure about a bunch of different things, exactly. He called in a couple more of the crew to help with the pipe. As it was lowered down, RW3 waited and winced about what SirOctober’s reaction would be. As the pipe was put down, RobloxianWarrior3 stared at his comrade is disbelief of what had happened with him.
He was asleep. Okay, not paranoia, just incredibly good at hiding sleepiness. RobloxianWarrior3 sighed. He smiled. What could anybody ever do with nerve of that annoyance-with-a-name? But what was that whir?
The systems were connected and the pipes were secured. Soon enough the systems were up and running. They would be later removed, but they were absolutely vital for the company of twenty-six at this point.
Before too much time had passed, quite a bit of the fog had disappeared. It was time to send contact back to the mainland. RobloxianWarrior3 climbed back onto the boat. SirOctober and the crew followed him on, every one of the smiling, surrounding the metal and rusted telegram system. Back at Fort Patria, 170 kilometers away, Private RobloxianWarrior1 waited anxiously for some signal on his old telegram system. We r Go.

We are go, RobloxianWarrior3’s code for his find of a place to settle. RobloxianWarrior1 hooted in triumph for his friend. SaxonX, a newer friend of theirs, smiled. There was a crackle on a radio “Impossible,” it crackled. It crackled again and switched itself off. But Fort Daedalus was in business.
