Ok, so we all know that the MVP race is going to come down between Adrian Peterson and Peyton Manning. They both had incredible seasons. Manning coming off of his neck injury, Peterson coming back from his knee injury. Nobody though either of these guys would ever be 100% again. These two both proved that they can be more than 100%. They both had MVP performance years but I think this one goes to Adrian Peterson. Peterson blew out his knee in 2011 and in 2012 he single handedly led the Vikings to the playoffs. Yeah there were other players on the Vikings who did a good job but if it weren't for Peterson, the Vikings would've probably ended up with the 1st draft pick in the 2013 draft. That is who I think should win MVP this year. Tell me who you think deserves it and why.
For rookie of the year I think this one goes to Russell Wilson. At the beginning of the season everyone was so hyped up about RGIII and Andrew Luck. Who is Russell Wilson everyone asked. I thought Matt Flynn was going to be the starter in Seattle. At the endof the regular season, Wilson showed everyone why he deserves ROY. He has passed so many touchdowns this year and is so quick to pass but he stays calm. With a young QB like Wilson, a great RB in Marshawn Lynch, and a terrific defense, the Seahawks will become the team to beat in future years. |

Neck injury is a lot harder to come back from than knee injury.
Russell Wilson was on a team that could already perform WITHOUT him. So no.

For MVP theres a 3rd candidate. Megatron, he had a record setting season of almost 2000 receiving yds.

Calvin Johnson is in the mix for MVP but you just can't beat the kind of seasons Manning and AP had. Johnson probably only has a 10% chance of winning. Is he a great receiver? Yes he is. Do I think he has a chance at MVP? No I do not.

@mb1
Colts and Redskins have wide recieving cores. That is it.
And what the hell are you on? You have Golden Tate and Sidney Rice. You also have the second best RB in the NFL, and one of the top defenses in the NFL. Sure, your O-line isn't that great, but neither is the Colts or Redskins.

I wouldn't call Marshawn Lynch the second best RB in the NFL. Golden Tate is good but not great, he just got popular from his catch against Green Bay earlier this season. Sidney Rice is living off of a good reputation from Minnesota.

I forgot to add, I think Adrian Peterson and Russell Wilson deserve the awards but I never added that I think Manning and RGII will get them.

Who would you place in second, then? AP is obviously the top RB in the NFL this season, with coming just a few yards shy of breaking an NFL record. So don't even try putting AP in second on the list, lol.
Golden Tate has been a good WR throughout the season. Not just that catch vs the Packers. Sidney Rice has also been good.

Arian Foster is in second in my opinion. He's just been in a slump for the past 3 games.

Well, Lynch and AP haven't been in slumps this season, now have they? That's why they are above Foster on my list of RB's.
