| Leaves. Berries could be poisonous. Same with the fungi and insects. Probably not the leave though. Probably. |

Leafs do seem like the safest choice, but I don't think it'll help with their evolution very much. Insects, however, seems like the most appropriate choice, and not too faraway from their homes.
