Hello, Currently, I am constructng a horror-puzzle game called, "The Maletime". I need someone to help with creating puzzle ideas since I am using an advanced puzzle-system. I also need some help in what ideas can scare the visitors half out of their wits. I also,[MAYBE] Need someone to help with textures and stuff.
If you are intereseted, Post a reply to this thread and send me a Private message.
I am planning for this game to be a one-person game in which the other person spectates.
I am hoping foward to replies! ~Dragonfire67890 |

I have some ideas on how to get them. I also may be able to make a texture or two. The major question: is the system already created, or is that part of the help needed? In other words, I could help.

| Idea: Have them run their mouse on a path but at the very end the path is extremely small so that they are squinting inches from the screen. Then an image of something scary pops up and a sound plays that is sudden and loud. It would scare them a lot. LOL |

Well, I didn't say I would help, but... just because your his rl friend doesn't mean you're the best choice for him to pick. |

You can have a custom chat GUI that allows for pretty wierd things, like a fake person that says: Follow me [unlucky victim here]... and you follow him, and then his head turns 180 degrees and has a scary face, then he eats you. Oh, and nobody would see the fake person's chat except for [unlucky victim here]
This will be a very rare occurence. |

That's genius. But if the game is just bent around scaring the poo out of his customers, then I dunno about the "eating them" part. :P
What I was thinking is include beds. I mean, if you were alone in a huge building (or wherever it takes place in) what would you feel safer doing? Lying down on your back? Or standing up, walking around and stuff? Personally, I would feel a lot safer if I was able to run away instead of just hiding under the covers (lol). So I saw this one vid on my friends iPod. It was a vid on the top 10 creepy/scary scenes out of horror movies or wutevah. The one that really pointed out to me was this one... scene. There was the main character lady laying in her bed. She slept the whole night and woke up. What she saw over her was a head of a grey body staring down at her (with an angry expression) and his mouth gaping open and his jaw hanging inhumanely low. She screamed and hid under the blanket, and when she looked back out he was still there. Peaked a second time, she was gone. Imagine that in a first person video game. Lol. :L |
