I should get the mac version of it because I switched computer versions. I need the brush up on C++ because I program a robot in 1 week and I will be screwed... =\ I get to solo-program a robot that will have a fully autonomous section but yet also has the ability to be overriden for bobcat/tank-control. |

I tried VisualStudio when I was learning and it only confused me. Code::Blocks is perfect for learning and I gave the link to a friend and they converted to it from VisualStudio!

Code::Blocks is very similar to Roblox Studio (for the scripting aspect). It highlights key words correctly and it give you a base upon opening it. It also has a ton of other options to set it for different designs including set ups of GUIs and game design.

| crouton, its called source, not scripts, or call it code. Be a little bit proffesional, also use Dev Bloodshed C++, because codeblocks stoped working for me as-well. |

@mykros
It is outdated...Scratch that, it is extremly outdated. But it will work for the basic stuff he is mostlikely learning, or he can just led codeblocks not run anything. Atleast with dev his code will run. So in my opinion, until he starts renderizing graphics and working with audio.. You know game stuff, dev would be fine. |

Yeah, but Code::Blocks should work fine too. You guys probably aren't setting it up right...
Visual Studio isn't bad, either. |

| No, because it works fine for anny of my Win32 API's. They mostlikely broke it in there last update. |
