I have to agree the SEC "dominance" isn't really existent. I'm curious, what do you think the best conference is Dead? |

"Auburn only won the 2010-11 BCS NCG because of Cam Newton and Michael Dyer, once those two went away the program diminished. Tato, don't even say Texas only did well in the 2006 NCG because of VY and Jamaal Charles, because I can easily argue that Michael Huff, Selvin Young, and Limas Sweed also played big parts in that Rose Bowl game"
i hate auburn and think they have a terrible football program
"Texas A&M came from the Big 12 last year with a senior QB that is now in the NFL and was a first-round pick, and they finished 7-6 with a losing record in the conference. Texas A&M joins the SEC and finishes 10-2 in the regular season with a winning record in the SEC led by a freshman QB, with a winning record in the "best conference in college football"."
Texas A&M lost to Florida and LSU, the two out of three GOOD teams they actually played, and I still think they got somewhat lucky against Alabama, their only true good win in the conference.
"Since you SEC'ers out there are so happy with Texas A&M in your conference, if Oklahoma beats the Aggies I can officially say Big 12 > SEC."
good luck with that happening
"Also, let's face these facts. Alabama, LSU, Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina are your original SEC members that basically ARE YOUR CONFERENCE. You recently aquired A&M with some recruits looking to play BIG 12 FOOTBALL."
Good teams:
LSU Alabama Florida Georgia South Carolina Texas A&M
OK teams: Ole Miss Vanderbilt Miss. State
"If you didn't have the top 6 teams in that 14-team conference, the SEC would be worse than the WAC was this year. Face it."
But we have 6 teams who dominate the top 10 BCS Standings. Face it. The Big 12 has ONE. ONE TEAM in the top 10 BCS Standings, and the PAC-12 has 2.
"The SEC is not dominant, and I can keep on arguing."
Not all of the SEC is dominant, but those top 6 sure as hell are.
"SEC may have your defense, but the Big 12 has the thing that can put up big numbers. Just ask Geno Smith or Nick Florence."
Geno Smith! You mean the one with the absolute worst defense in the entire Big 12 that caused his team to lose 5 straight games and go from BCS Contendors to the PINSTRIPE BOWL?
And Nick Florence! The one with the unranked team Baylor and the one whom only won against K. State because K. State didnt show up? Im not hating on Baylor's ability to make points, because THEY CAN, but they average giving up 37 points a game. Alabama averages 10.Alabama would take a crap all over Baylor's defense and then somewhat stop their offense. |

"notice how after the Georgia game Florida struggled against ull and Jacksonville state."
florida is one of those teams that seems to always win in the little bit at the end
also, they beat Jacksonville State 23 - 0

| Just LSU and Alabama? Florida is better than LSU. We beat them and we have one of top defenses. |

If you paid attention, sir was talking about How they "put up big numbers" not how bad the defense was. If WVU played Florida or LSU, they could've put up points up in the 50s or 40s. But their defense would give up probably 40+. There is no denying that Baylor or WVU can score... |
