-If you lose control of your capital, your territories will no longer receive units.

-Territories with more cities should lower the combat efficiency of the attacking army.

-Mountain ranges which will slow armies moving over them.

-Water territories (very very tentative). Cannot be captured, can only be occupied. No bonus.

-Alliances should not be broken when a player leaves, permanent alliances should be degraded to temporary instead.

-Battles over Capitals should favour the defender.

-Multiple unit selection.

These are the current ideas under consideration.

I posted this on the other thread, but just in case you didn't see it:
Instead of not gaining any units for losing a capital, maybe you should make gaining units slower by making it 20 - 60 seconds for new units.

All very good ideas. I particularly like the 2nd and 3rd. The 4th is interesting, but I don't see how that would influence gameplay much.

I think there should be an option that will allow the player's alliance to use his own territories to store units,take units,attack ETC.

Personally i think the 1st one should not be done.
If it was,then people with alot of territories would attack the capital,always first,so they beat you.

Make the fog of war bigger in down because you can see what territory is if you look from below :))) I use it to see where enemies are

I see there should be different where players rule a certain country not just a small part, no nuteral, apart from in the bigger countries, Russia is half say mine and the other half no one there. and Latvia is fully owned by a player like that.

How about that if you (Green?) were attacked in your own place. Shouldn't that favor the owner of that place?

Just seems more real than it's both even in each.

i suggest making a map with normal ( No water, mountains, other special terrain ) qualites so that new players can go on it without too much trouble,

i think you should also make a side game, for people who joined the game late/ are already dead, like chair racing or checkers, mabye just put the battlewagons gear in the game

That's overkill. The troop production efficiency should just be lower, not completely lost.

This is an idea that would result in utter chaos, i know, but in real life, if you lose your capital, you lose the battle. So maybe add the option to select what rules the game will have when it initiates, the rules will be integrated until the war is over. Then they will be reset for another vote decision.
Also, the water territories seem useless, maybe they offer the ability to create a port so you could target territories that are near water, but are only a few spaces from your borders. There would have to be speculations for this however, maybe 1 boat per harbor at a time, or 1 boat can be sent every minute, etc.
Add more maps and more selection.
HAVE NO TIME LIMIT! This will ruin the game! The point is to gather troops and dominate, not do it in 1 hour! I have had a game that was 1 hour 37 minutes long, and it was FUN, not rushed. It would require you to add another leaderboard slot "Out of time games".

Have the ability to launch, for to say nukes, and other specials onto nations. The ability would be unlocked at a said territory strength, like 20. The specials would weaken other territories and would have a wait time (like 1-10 minutes).
Have larger armies have more power when the attack. If you are attacking a nation that has 50 troops and you have 1500 troops, you shouldn't lose like 50 men.
Have random natural disasters that effect territories at random such as floods, hurricanes, earthquakes, etc. These would weaken the nation's troop levels and hold them more susceptible to attack for maybe a minute.

Of the above ideas, the following have been completed:

-If you lose control of your capital, your territories will receive HALF their original reinforcements.

-Alliances are not be broken when a player leaves, but permanent alliances are degraded to temporary alliances when a player leaves.

-Battles over Capitals now favour the defender.

-Multiple unit selection. SHIFT key.

There should be upgrades like tanks and faster movements and there should be a way to fly like planes

I believe that the game is fine, but there are some problems like the bridge problem and all that. I suggest that you fog of war the bridge and and maybe you say, buildings, these ..... buildings or fortifcations could be built by a certain ammount of people except those soilders are not able to defend and said fortifcations would use half the troops or more to man it. I agree that the water territorrys should be created because this game is based off of risk ? Correct , so in risk 2124 or something like that you have the ability to take over water areas ( and moon so if buildings for lunar launches are cool thats ok ). I think if you did add water areas the building thing should be implemented to create submarines and say air tanks to resupply everything. If you dont think that the water areas are a good idea i agree with the idea to allow boats in the game. As for the moon i suggest that you make it so that units move at 1/6th of the speed that they would on earth but the territorrys are closer together on the moon. In 2124 you can colonize the moon but you cant come back down without special equipment thats costly ? Maybe you should add special resources to encourage fighting and trading like if you want to build space shuttles players must control a deposit of the material that is required to make it. If you want to make it more interesting have it so that the resources accumulate and you need a certain ammount to build something. I doubt you will add any of this but its wortha shot.
