A way to merge polygons between parts, to allow more work in CFraming without lagging the game out. Like, if you have two spheres overlapping, you could get rid of all the unnecessary polygons, to reduce lag. Of course this wouldn't happen automatically, there would maybe be a filter that the player could use. But, once a part's polygon's pieces are merged, it would become a part itself and can be merged again.
I'm not entirely sure if this is a good idea, but I think it would increase the amount of detail a player could put in his game with CFraming. |

It would make ROBLOX have many different shapes. That's a thing... that's not ROBLOX's thing. Because they haven't already, I'm assuming it's not likely.
Also, how would ROBLOX be able to tell what part of what block is covered by another block? |

| I'm not sure really, it was just an idea. Many 3D animating programs, such as Blender and Lightwave allow you to do this to reduce lag in scenes. I'm sure there's a way to figure it out. I'm not saying they'd make a thousand different shapes for every possibility, I was thinking some kind of code that could be used to recognize it. But I'm not sure. |
