Similarities:
- Both are monastic religions
- Both believe in only using violence for defense of the innocent
- Both believe in an afterlife
- Both don't believe in any actual deity
- Both believe in the sacrifice of worldly goods for the greater good
- Both have a fighting technique they use to defend the weak
- Both ruled their area for a long period of time (Buddhism dominated a lot of Asia at one point)
Being Buddhist is the closest thing you have to being an actual Jedi :3 Problem?

| Only Jediism isn't a religion. It's a fictional... science. |

@Aws It's a religion, if you know the Star Wars universe you'll see that not everyone believes in the Force, so it's not science as it is not exactly accepted as scientific fact. |

| If it was a religion, what was it called? They never mentioned a god at all, and everything they based their "beliefs" off of are observable features of their universe. Get on my level- I read the books. All 9. |

@Aws It has no official name, it's basically called, "Jedi religion" or "the Force" and not all religions have a deity, like Buddhism. |

| But the force is something that they could observe. They constantly use it, and are affected by it's obvious existence. |

@Aws Yes, but they also explain it differently then others might, they believe in an afterlife in the Force without any actual evidence to prove it. |

athiest, and don't you confuse that with "Anti-Christ", "devil worshiper." or anything bad.
That is why i use the phrase "No Religion."
It doesn't hurt anybody and i don't try to force it on people like Christians do. |
